Overview

The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

We had put the Campuha ridge walk on our to do list without really knowing what it was: a path alongside Ubud with beautiful landscape around you. We saw people coming back covered in sweat but it's not THAT heavy of a hike. It's more...More

We started the Ridge walk but it was too hot so only did 2km before turning back. With humidity 80% we felt we'd rather use our energy otherwise. What we saw was beautiful though

It's nice to explore this trail early morning and without a guide. We walked at our own pace and paused on several occasions to take in the view. It was so nice we went back a second time.

It's a nice walk in the morning, as this is when it is cool. You don't have much shade here, as it's very open, so in the morning or afternoon is a good time. Some nice views. Needs only around an hour there and back....More

Very nice walk, we had a coffee at the end at a small cafe, cold coffee was amazing! Great place to stop and recover a little bit for the walk back! I recommend this walk!

We had a very pleasant time on the Campuhan walk. The views were tropical and breathtaking-- exactly how I imagined them to be. We were dissapointed that the Gunung Lebah Temple was closed at the base of this walk, but glad that we strolled up...More

We set off around 8am and felt we should have gone sooner. It was hot and it's pretty hilly (up until Karma cafe, we didn't go any further). It was relatively quiet still and spent most of the time walking alone. The views are beautiful...More

We have been there, seen things, walked the path and it was nothing special. Rice terraces are way more intresting walk. Luckly there is a Karsa Cafe at the end so it is good to chill out.

A short, beautiful walk with sweeping hilltop views leading from Ubud central into the small village of bBankiang Sideman We walked along the ridge as we had a spa session scheduled at Karsa Spa (another gem) .

Campuhan is a lovely walk, especially the first part which is pedestrian only. After you pass some cafes, a road feeds into the Walk and I had to dodge motorcycles which was much less relaxing than the first part. But it is a beautiful walk...More

I can't see any danger with it. There are plenty of runners up that early to avoid the morning heat anyway!
