The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

Its a nice activity to do and get a sense of the greater UBUD, not just the restaurants and shops. Nice little cafes at the end.

A very easy accessible walk close to central Ubud (10-20 min by foot). The walk itself is also easy with a paved walkway. The view is beatiful. It's quite hot in the middle of the day so I recommend going in the morning or afternoon...More

Perhaps we got this wrong but it was only 2 km? The ridgeway was beautiful but much much shorter than expected so all done and dusted rather than a hike which we had hoped for. Nice photograph opportunity but a little disappointing.

Beautiful with a wonderful restqurant located at the end over looking rice fields. Definitely is a little work out but totally worth it!

A beautiful way to spend a morning. The swing along the way always seemed busy but perfect for Instagram photos if you are into that type of thing.

Was expecting something a bit longer, but good for a stroll! A little hard to find when walking or driving from the main road. Check maps first.

An easy paved walk through the jungle and rice fields. The majority of the path is not accessible to cats or scooters so you can stroll along and enjoy the scenery! The best bit is after about 2kms you come to cafes serving cold drinks...More

A good way to stretch the legs but can be hot and humid. The way up is clear but the Lonely Planet detour to the rice plantations is no longer accessible as shown. A local could show you the way but it is slippery on...More

I decided to do this because of the time factor and proximity to where I was in Ubud. My husband and son had limited time in Ubud so I thought this walk would show them a little side of nature in ubud. It took a...More

This is a nice short 2km climb up from Jl Raya Ubud. Note the loop walk described in even recent Lonely Planet isn’t really practical anymore as “small unmarked street to West” looks to have been repaved and is shoulder-less and busy with car traffic...More
