I loved this tour!
Our guide, Stone, shared so much information along the way.
I learned more today about Balinese Culture than I had gleaned in my 6 days here so far.
The scenery was stunning and was well paced for all levels. There is a car behind the cyclists in case of any mechanical issues and we had only 3 uphills, the rest was either flat or exhilaratingly downhill.
We learned about the harvesting of coffee and other produce as well as the process for growing and harvesting rice. But more than that, we learned so much about the culture, the traditions, the homes, the skills and the beautiful countryside of the Balinese people.
I would highly recommend this tour, and Stone as guide, to anyone visiting Bali. Even if you are not a seasoned cyclist. It’s a great way to escape the city, soak up some breathtaking scenery, meet people, eat nice food, get exercise and be educated all in one day!

Excellent trip with Pierre(Stone) Down hill for absolute beginners 😉. Nice stops and exploring rice fields, wood crafts and explanation about the villages. I would recommend this bicycle trip. Thanks to Pierre

What an incredible tour! Both my husband and I would totally recommend this tour. Stone, our cycling guide was awesome. The rice terraces were beautiful, the coffee plantation was interesting (you get to sample 4 teas and 4 coffees) and the gentleman at the woodcarving workshop was so amazing at what he does. We had both breakfast and lunch, which were delicious. Just a note, most of the cycling is downhill or flat, but there are 3 more difficult hills for you to be aware of. But if you don't make it up them, just get off your bike and push it up the hill. Have fun

This trip was phenomenal, if you want to experience real Bali, and learn about the history and culture than this is the bike trip for you. We had a lovely tour guide named Stone, he is extremely knowledgable, good English speaker also has taken the time to learn French. He is very passionate and takes his role as a guide seriously. I would recommend this tour to anyone! And if you have the opportunity request Stone as your guide!

I did none of the activities promised. We only did the bicycle tour, breakfast and lunch. The tour was cut off 2,5-3 hours.

The guide was always in a hurry and kept asking "are you done with your food". I had to ask for breaks to see the rice fields.

The guide was complaining that he was tired and wanted to get home before rush hour.

When I asked about the activities, I was told lies. Eg that there is no coffee plantation that you can visit in the area.

Save your money!

There is so much that was positive about this cycling tour! The starting point, with its views of Mount Batur, the well organized and executed cycling adventure, the easy coasting through countryside, rice fields and rainforest, our fabulous cycling guides, the sweet dance by a youthful troupe of girls, and the delicious geast at the end of the ride. It was a delightful day, in spite of the rain.
However, if there was one improvement that would have made this a 5/5 for me, it would have been to eliminate the stop at the coffee "plantation" in the morning and have us on bicycles at least an hour earlier. It was close to noon before we actually set off on the bikes, despite an 8:30 AM pick up!! Many of us were disappointed, if not a little irritated, by the delay at the plantation.
Hoping this feedback will help, as we would have loved more time on the bikes with our capable and well-spoken cycling guides!

A fantastic family experience in Bali. We were picked up in Ubud and visited places of interest on the way up to the starting point. Great views at the breakfast stop, then onto our bikes. Stone, our guide for the day, was enthusiastic and informative. At each stop he explained the rich culture of Bali and answered all of our questions.
The majority of the ride was down hill, on rural roads. We stopped at villages, rice fields, woodworking shop and finished with a great lunch.
This tour would suit many fitness levels, as the tail van is available for people who have had enough. But the route is quite easy and achievable.
Overall a great experience, and one I would recommend for families or people just wanting to see a different side of Bali.

Bali breeze tours was recommended to us by our hotel, and we were lucky enough to have Stone as our tour guide - an incredibly knowledgeable local who speaks amazing English, and strove to give us a good experience. Once our pick up driver had made several stops on the way up the hilltop; including the picturesque rice fields and a tour of the coffee plantation, we stopped for breakfast overlooking the stunning Mount Batur. After choosing our bikes (and helmets, which was a welcomed offer!) we made our decent through the countryside and local villages, riding passed residential temples and farmland, making a stop at a Balinese family home to understand the local family culture and stopping at some rice crops to be educated on their farming and production. The tour ends with some tasty local lunch, where your driver collects and returns you to your hotel! Amazing day out and a great way to cover a large expanse of Ubud without being in the car/on foot. Stone was happy to answer all our questions and was a brilliant guide. The main feedback we would give would be for the tour to start earlier, to allow for an earlier breakfast and to avoid cycling in the midday sun; albeit got a great tan!

An amazing way to explore Bali, highly recommend this tour! Very organised with a pre tour breakfast beforehand, lunch on completion of the ride and bottled water included. Our tour guide Stone was very informative with lots of great information about the Balinese culture and traditions. Additional guides followed to ensure the group was safe on the road or to assist if anyone had any difficulties with the ride. An easy downhill bike ride with only a couple of steep uphill climbs throughout the tour, but there is the option if needed of the assisting guides taking your bike for you in the truck that follows the tour group. Highlights included visiting the home of a local family, walking around a rice paddy with Stone then explaining rice growing and farming processes, stopping to watch the intricacies of local wood carving experts and a delightful traditional Balinese dance by a group of local children. Definitely a must-do when you come to Bali!
