We’ve been to these throughout the United States. In Gatlinburg Tennessee, Saint Augustine Florida, Branson Missouri and in Myrtle Beach. Just wish they would update them and put in some new stuff. The old saying..lif you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.

It was a rainy day so we decided to check out Ripley’s. Not everyone in our party wanted to go, so it ended up as myself and a 10 and 13 yr old. We all had a good time. Some very odd and strange exhibits, just what you would expect. A bit pricey, but with not much to do in a rainy day, it was worth the hour of entertainment.

Okay so I just went and enjoyed it. But I got a really creepy feeling the entire time. Almost like I wasn’t supposed to be looking at some of the things. Like the rooms with the tribal items. Gave me a creepy feeling. I also felt like someone was watching me the entire time.

We stopped in here on a Monday afternoon after a getaway at the Borgata. Its great that Ripley's is open year round. It was a perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon in March. It was $42 for two adults, which is a little steep but this is something I've been wanting to do in AC so I was willing to splurge a little. We really enjoyed all the exhibits and spent more than an hour going through the entire thing. There were alot more historical artifacts than we were expecting and we were really impressed. You might see a piece of the Berlin wall, a life mask made of Abraham Lincoln, artifacts from the indigenous people of West Africa, or the flag flown on the spacecraft of a NASA Gemini mission. The parts about "giant" men with a pituitary gland issue being part of a circus or Mr. Ripley "loving all things Chinese including this woman" are a little cringey and some of the artifacts seem like maybe they should be returned to their country of origin. But overall, it was a surprisingly enjoyable time and we would recommend this to anyone looking to do something interesting in AC on a bad weather day.

We enjoyed the amount of time we were able to spend walking around. Enjoyed hands-on activities and learning. Had many laughs and appreciated some special surprises. Not a mind-blowing experience, but a nice way to spend some time.

Ripley's isn't huge and if you walk right thru you can get thru it all in 15 minutes..SO...if you're like that don't bother you'll hate it...SO...slow down and READ the explanations of each item and enjoy yourself, TAHT's what you're there for isn't it???

no hurry! so many things to see, if you spend an hour in there you'll miss things. I went first time for 2 hours and still missed things! read the signs in the displays and learn. don't rush it. I can sit in the 2 way mirror room all day laughing at people who don't know they are seen on a huge screen in another room was they make faces at the mirror! relax and enjoy, esp in summer they have the coldest air conditioning!!

I didn't see one but the majority of the things to see are all on one level. I'm sure you could call the place and find out if they do have a wheel chair! 😀

Ripley's is wheelchair accessible from start to finish, but I don't Believe they provide wheelchairs. You can call them directly at (609) 347-2001 to find out. Hope this helped.

Groupon has them. You may be able to find one at the place you stay also.
What is the age group for this museum? Are there any age limits? What is the youngest age accepted? Is there anything scary?

Hi!
Thank you for writing to Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Atlantic City!
Our museum is open to ALL ages, and there are no limits on what age can enter the museum. Children and adults of all ages tour the Odditorium every day and have a great time!
Occasionally people ask if there is anything "scary" inside. Well, I can tell you that it is NOT like a haunted house, no one is going to jump out from behind a door and try to scare you.
As an Odditorium, we do however have odd and bizarre exhibits, and exhibits that display what to some people may seem scary, like the figure of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man in modern history, who stood over eight feet tall! So to some, he might seem scary, to most, he provides a great photo op as people love to stand next to the giant ruler next to his figure to see how they measure up to his height!
So, what I tell people is, you know your kids the best, and you know what they are used to. If they get to the lobby and seem excited about what they are seeing, they will probably enjoy the tour!
I hope I have been a help to you, and we look forward to your visit here at Ripley's!

I believe they are perhaps a little different. My daughter went to one in another city and her photos looked almost the same as mine. So this is the only comparison I have.
Hope this helps...
