A hipster's paradise. Art meets nature meets food meets young money. OCT has a relaxed and unique vibe, especially for the fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere of Shenzhen. Lots of cafes, art dealers, and exhibits.

It's a bit of a disappointment to be honest. It is hyped as a creative city hub, but it doesn't live up to the hype. It can get eerily quiet during the weekend evenings, which is quite odd. There are a few quirky coffee shops, bars and restaurants, but compared to other cities, it's a bit of a let down.

We went here around noon on a Sunday and were disappointed that many of the vendor booths weren't open and some of the shops were closed. After reading reviews it might be better to go here later in the afternoon. We still enjoyed our stay and popped into a cafe for an ice cream milk tea to cool down. Please note that the OCT loft is north of the Qiaocheng East Metro station and the OCT harbour is south. This area is much quieter than the harbour in the early afternoon.

This part of Shenzen is dedicated to arts and artist/design-related startups and firms. It is located in a quarter, that had been used industrially and the buildings have been (and still are) adapted to lofts and exhibition spaces.
There are many nice restaurants, exhibitions, art&crafts shops and cafés (which is essential, because good coffee - Italian style - is rare in China).
It is like coming to another world inmidst the busy Shenzen scene. Very chic and "European". Whenever the crowded, narrow streets in the "urban villages" make you crazy you can find some relax and "western" artistic attitude here. This is kind of an intriguing choreography (remember! you are in the Special Economy Area), but it is _NOT_ the real China.

Is about 10 mins taxi ride from OCT Station, we were there in the noon and it was so quiet ,killing our time in some shops and cafe.Think we went there in the wrong timing, don't see anything selling in the streets, kinda boring...

This park has been redeveloped from an old industrial area of Shenzhen. It is full of arty, crafty spaces and shops, plus coffee shops and restaurants. There's also an interesting museum space and, when we visited on a Sunday, there were some temporary craft stalls outside. The space itself has been developed in a very interesting way and is good to explore.

It's a nice place to go for an evening in Shenzhen. Lots of arts and crafts being sold on the street and in the stores. Clean and comfortable environment. Lots of food options.

Expecting to see more thing and have more animation. I went there around 6pm and was really quiet ... I didn’t see any « heart » or any hot spots
Couple of restaurants and coffee however which look foods but I wouldn’t suggest to go there for shopping or culture.
