About
Some may find it over-powering, but if you're looking for where everybody is, then Pub Street it is. Lined with restaurants and bars selling cheap beer and reasonable food. Later on, the music starts thumping and there's often almost a party atmosphere. People watching is free.

    Great atmosphere
Was pleasantly surprised when we got there as had expected something larger scale and a bit sleazy but early evening it has a nice atmosphere. There are a good range of places to eat and drink outside and it's great for people watching. 6-9pm probably the best time if you want to have a conversation with your companion as from 10ish the boom boom boom of awful music from certain competing and generally empty (mmmm wonder why?) bars gets louder and louder.

It's a must have experience in Siem Reap! Full of life and excitement, it provides a whole different treat to the Cambodia experience. I enjoyed the food, cheap cocktails and the loud music! Cheap massage places on every corner! I went there one night just to see it, I ended up going there every other night until I finished my week is in Siem Reap. As a female solo traveler, I did not feel unsafe at any point, that is a plus!

    Well done Siem Reap
This street closes off to traffic in the evening and is a feast of bars, restaurants and small shops. There are a huge variety of eating choices so there’s something for everyone, from Khmer, to Italian to Mexican etc. The rooftop and rolled ice cream options are great. You’ll need to bargain when shopping of course.

    Visit Siem Reap Pub street
Siem Reap Pub Street is a lively and fun place to hang out at night. There are many bars, restaurants, and shops to choose from, and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. You can enjoy live music, street food, and local beer, or just walk around and soak up the vibe. It's a great way to experience the nightlife of Cambodia.

    Khmer New Year
We had read that a visit to Pub Street was a must when we were in Siem Reap. What a great fun place to be, especially on the night of the Khmer New Year. We were wondering why all the street stalls had a huge supply of water guns and talcum powder. We were told it was for the new year festivities held in Pub Street. IT WAS BRILLIANT!!! So much better than fireworks, friendly people, loud music and everyone hosing everyone down and covering faces with powder. It was so much fun and the locals were genuinely pleased to see visitors joining in and having fun. It is also great for restaurants and bars.

    Good fun
Very loud with all the bars competing with their music. Some great bars and a lot of fun with all the lights too. Not too crowded when we were there Got offered weed multiple times which was a bit of a laugh. Lots of local families there also and you felt safe. Have the fish pedicures there. I think it depends on age group you are travelling with. Younger generation definitely enjoy it here.

Fun last night in Siem Reap
We went out for finger food and cocktails. The whole place, Pub Street, didn’t disappoint. It was a fun place BUT you can’t ever dare to be drunk in such a place. Local men can be seen prowling for drunk or easy to deceive tourists. The bar we went to had loud fun music and the staff were great. But a couple of the local appetizers we ordered were so bad. Drinks were fine. We booked a tuk tuk on grab app easily from our hotel to Pub Street and back. Everything was cheap. But ask first before ordering anything on the menu.

Great place to relax and chill out. A must see in Seam Reap
Great place to eat and drink and watch the endless flow of visitors pass through. Many good restaurants. Caters for everyone from full out ragers to quiet family groups depending on which end of the street you go to. Food is available for any style of food you may want. And drinks are ridiculously cheap and plentiful.

    It is what it is
It is what it is, a touristy, hot, loud, busy street with bright lights and lots of people. As we were staying in town, it was obviously a to-do. It was fun just to walk the area and take it all in, which literally takes like 5-10mins. Restaurants and bars here are much more expensive than just a street away but you are paying for being in pub street really.

    Expensive
I was told Cambodia would be cheap but it really isn’t if you go places like this. $8-10 for a main meal and around $2-3 for a soft drink. The food is average and it is a tourist trap. It did feel safer than other areas and they speak English.

Only 3.5 miles from the temple ruins. The French-colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the old french Quarter and around the Old Market, Pub Street has a little bit of everything including souvenir shops, street food vendors, nightclubs, restaurants and more, including fish 🐠 who will give you a foot 🦶 peel! “Happy Houred” at the local Raffles’ Elephant Bar, and that Hot Gold Chili 🌶️ Reposado tequila was 🔥 . Crocodile 🐊 Pizza 🍕 anyone? We enjoyed this magical town so much that we hope to return for at least a week’s stay in the future.

Horrific. This is an area catered solely for tourists. Overpriced, tacky... It doesn't even feel like being in Siem Reap. There is so much more to do in Siem Reap if you know where to go. There are amazing restaurants, bars, culture... we went to pub street and left after 10 minutes. Never again. Not even sure why people like it.

The area is a kaleidoscope of colours, smells, and sounds. An excellent place to have a Khmer meal say at the Psar Char end. Beware of the following sunglasses scam in souvenir/gift shops which abound the area: 1. a pair of damaged specs is carefully placed on the rotating spectacle display stand by the proprietor so that it would fall out at the slightest movement of the stand; 2. the unsuspecting tourist arrives checks out the selection of specs and invariably turns the rotating spectacle display stand to look at the specs; 3. the damaged pair of spectacles then tumbles to the floor; 4. the salesgirl (standing nearby & waiting for the specs to fall out) immediately picks up and examines (pretends to examine) the fallen specs and points out to you the damage (in my case it was a slightly cracked lens) and then demands that it be bought. 4. Do not enter into a debate just say a firm "NO" and walk off pronto or the salesgirl will create a scene by yelling, etc. and you will be surrounded by unruly characters!

Had heard a lot about Pub Street and it lived upto expectation. Considering that we were there a couple of days before Christmas, the atmosphere was very festive and lively. There are eating and drinking places everywhere. There's music playing on the streets, and people generally having a big party all around. Even if you dont eat/drink at a place on this street, it is still worth taking a walk through this area. It is indeed very lively and entertaining!

There is scam prevalent where they try to offload damaged US dollars onto customers. You pay, they come back after 5 mins saying you gave an Old series or damaged note. It’s not yours obviously but you might end up paying double and getting stuck with a bad note. So, the moment you pay your bill, ask them to check it right in front of you and confirm, no taking the notes to the counter.

Pub Street is one of the busiest area in the down town of Siem Reap. The street is fully decorated and both sides restaurants, bars, shops are there and it is very busy during night time. Indian, Thai, Malayasian, Chineses and other types of restaurants are there and it will be like by foodies.

After enjoying the quiet grandeur of Angkor, this part of the city makes quite some contrast. It gets very noisy as the party gets going and everyone is having fun both inside and in the streets. Some good restaurants - we enjoyed everything we had. Also souvenir shops - got a good guidebook for Angkor.
Some sketchy folks though, promising not very legal activities, so keep clear of them. They will go away if told "no", I found the place to be very safe. Just fyi.

Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Reasonable prices.
Can be noisy but great place to drink and watch world go by.
