Of course this is a tourist trap, but it is a quite cosy and nice place to go for shopping around. We walked around after dinner, when it cools off a bit.

Angkor Night market is a nice place to move around for food, shopping and looking at people. You can buy different types of souvenirs from this place at a very good price, but you should know how to bargain with the nice ladies at the shop. Remember that the people there are very nice and friendly and if you want... More

I ventured into the Night Market this evening (both the original and new), there were many stalls that sold the same things at varied prices. It's a good place to get souvenirs at cheap prices, as long as you have the strength to bargain! When a price is offered to you, always go half. They will hesitate at first but... More

I heard that I had to go to the night market so a few friends and I went. It's very inexpensive but it's mostly Cambodia T-shirts or other souvenirs. Definitely not a must-do while in siem reap.

Prices are very cheap There are pubs in the area Beer costs half a dollar. Very cheap clothing. Unfortunately, there is a lot of poverty in Cambodia. There are a lot of beggars. I know there is no choice and you have to help these people even if it is one dollar. Donate who knows what will happen to us... More

Nice market, a lot of the same stalls, would have loved to have looked around more in peace with out seller in you're face. Recommend for gifts, beautiful art work! If you don't want to buy something, don't pick up or you'll be harassed haha.

The Angkor Night Market has nothing too different from other of these markets around Asia, nice paintings, souvenirs, t-shirts and a few crafts that repeat themselves after a few shops go by. You should be prepared for a lot of bargaining - they start prices at around 15 USD and drop that to 5 or 4, especially if you walk... More

This is a good place to find good present to take home. Mainly the same on every stall but sometimes you find that extra special thing. Be prepared to barter. They start at a high price but you can soon get as much as half the asking price. There are plenty of silk scarves and silk products but the scarves... More
