A lovely looking shop with lovely looking items for sale.
Staff (owner?) very helpful, but I am not convinced he told me the truth in many regards to goods for sale.
It reminded me of the watch seller on beach in Bali - the Guarrantee will follow in the mail.
And I am still waiting several week later for promised documents - having chased the centre direclty.
As I said, looks lovely, goods seem reasonably priced (I think) but I sense an underlying shonky business model built on lies and if not lies then cetrtianly untruths.

My wife and I strolled through the store one December evening just after sunset, and we were surprised by the expansive selection of items stretching across many rooms. The store owner was present and eager to show his goods. We focused on the jewelry in one room and my wife was very impressed with a large ruby set in a silver ring. We ended up bargaining a bit as the price offered did not seem a bargain. The ring needed to be resized, and this was offered for no extra charge. The will of the salesman to please was impressive in that it was 6 pm and he offered to have the ring resized and delivered to our hotel room by 8 the next morning. We ended up agreeing that for quality work, it be delivered the next day by 8 pm. My wife and I were very pleased when the salesman and an associate arrived (a little late) as we waited in the lobby the next evening, finding the the ring a perfect fit and the resizing to have been professionally done.
We would purchase from Hayah Art Center again--just remember the art of bargaining, as it seems to be an expectation, and the salespeople try hard both to please and to sell to you.

This art center certainly has beautiful things to sell. However they are overpriced and do not know how to ship art. I bought a piece from them that I was very much looking forward to hanging out in my wall, only to have it shipped to me in one thin layer of Styrofoam and of course shattered into pieces. When I asked for a resolution I got a couple of emails promising me something and then no response. It’s a pity, because they do sell some lovely pieces. However I would never encourage someone to use their services if the intent was to ship home.

Terrific selection of scarves, artwork and rugs. The proprietors and very knowledgeable and friendly, although a bit too aggressive in trying to make the sale. Definitely worth a visit.

Bought a hand-cast Lao bronze bell in November. We’re apprised of lengthy shipping time. Nice, attentive, low-pressure sales attention. Will reserve assessment on delivery.

We ordered an item that needed to be delivered after being made. We paid 1/2 on Visa while we were in Siem Reap and 1/2 on money order prior to shipment. The delivery arrived to our U.S. address as promised. The quality was excellent and we are very pleased. We would highly recommend this establishment.

We visit several local art galleries and found Hayah to be the most low key, least pressured of the bunch. Many of the places we stopped were high pressure and trying to get us to just buy something. At Hayah, the salesperson spent plenty of time with us and explaining the various pieces of art. We ended up buying something for our home at Hayah and still enjoy seeing it on display every day. The team at Hayah made sure our purchase was well packaged for the remainder of our travel. We enjoyed the experience there and recommend it as a place to visit if your looking for something to bring home to remember a visit to Cambodia.

We purchased two magnificent, large carved wooden standing Buddhas from Hayah's extensive collection and could not be happier with our purchase. After arriving at a fair price for our purchase, they provided excellent packaging and shipping to ensure that our treasures arrived safe and sound at our home in the USA. We love our Cambodian treasures!
Highly recommended.

We went to the Hayah Art Centre after visiting several other galleries. Literally, there are a number of places that sell the same pieces so don't be beguiled by sales pitches that these are antique, one of a kind. They are not. However, we found two larger Budha heads on plinths that were exactly what we were looking for. We had a bit of a haggle (which is to be expected) and probably overpaid for them but they evoke our wonderful and exciting visit to Angkor Wat and beyond. The shipping timing was a bit long (a little over two months) but the sales person anticipated that so we were prepared. They arrived perfectly packed, in one piece and now sit in our living room to be enjoyed for a long time.
Take the time to find something that reminds you of your visit. You won't regret it.
