Visited this place a couple of times as The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers and upmarket global restaurants. Food trucks offering snacks like shawarma dot the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, popular for its views of the Dubai coastline and the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel. Beach clubs with spas and infinity pools. Built from reclaimed land in a series of artificial archipelagos, Palm Jumeirah is shaped like a palm tree when viewed from above. The unique island is home to some of Dubai's top luxury resorts, including Atlantis, The Palm, FIVE Palm Jumeirah Hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Found it both fascinating and amazing !

An exceptional achievement, the construction of this artificial island! For an overall view, go up to The View at the Palm terrace. The Lost Chambers Aquarium is also interesting to see. Also here is a beautiful water park, Atlantis Aquaventure. All these objectives can be reached using the Dubai monorail.

This review is based on The palm jumeriah strip only not our hotel, as our hotel was outstanding we stayed at the Hilton. Recently stayed here with my children and husband. The views, beach etc is all very nice. The most disturbing thing is, in the evening we all went for a walk they where prostitutes everywhere. 3nights we went for a walk it was the same thing every night the last night we stayed there my 12yr old son asked me why these women was asking men if you need services!!! You spend alot of money to visit this place then you have this here. I would definitely not recommend for families especially if you want to go for a stroll with your children. There was a hotel nearby called FIVE where these girls where coming from. Overall I enjoyed my holiday in Dubai however when your spending alot of money to visit such a beautiful area you don't want to be seeing that much prostitutes, especially if your there with your young children. I think The palm is suited for young lads or men that want hookers!!!

We were keen to visit to check out the restaurants at the hotel before booking and to get an idea of the ambience.
What a disaster. Despite the website shouting about how many things there are to do on a day trip to The Atlantis, the security guards were absolutely set on restricting access to visitors.
So you can’t rock up to see what it’s like before you part with your hard- earned cash. And you’re very much made to feel like second class citizens.
We ended up reluctantly booking to dine at Heston’s latest restaurant- at The Atlantis Royal. And very nearly left as the place is so unwelcoming if you’re not a hotel guest. But eventually we chose to go as there was a really good deal on.
PLeased we did as the restaurant was actually spot on.
But don’t come to The Atlantis unless you are pre booked. As they’re not the friendliest.

The view from my room was beautiful, the Palm Jumeirah was spotless, beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby, the breakfast buffet was delicious all of the staff went above and beyond to assist when and wherever needed. I like to give Brenda a special shot out for adding to an already impressive trip!

I have always been fascinated with Atlantis in its original and first location in Nassau, Bahamas, from the time I have read about that in a novel, a Jeffery Archer one if I remember correctly.

For over two decades, Atlantis has been exuding Bahamian culture, serving as an architectural marvel and custodian of marine life, and its landmark pink architecture that defines luxury, hospitality, and entertainment in the Caribbean and around the world.

The closest we can get, for now, is the Atlants's second location in the uber luxurious Dubai, located in the farthest edge of The Palm, which in itself in an icon. No, we weren't staying in the Atlantis, but I wish in the future. We did manage to take a little detour from our Dubai City Tour to take the scenic route in the metro line that travels from one end of The Palm to the other end where the Atlantis is located. The journey through the central frond of The Palm, itself is magical, with about a few stops and a view of the buzzling mini city with private beaches and signature homes. The last stop is where I got a glimpse of the most anticipated view of Atlantis, it was nothing less than magical. I just couldn't stop wondering how beautiful the pink architecture looks, very much at ease in Dubai's cultural landscape in the middle of the sea.

Now my trip back to Dubai is reconfirmed with this beautiful space where I would want to stay at least for a day [and afford it] and enjoy the access to the Aquaventure Dubai and the Lost Chambers aquarium.

My uncle and I visited Dubai for the first time in June 2023. The Palm Jumeirah is a world-famous construction project because it was built entirely out in the open sea. We took the monorail all the way to the end of the line, where we got off at Atlantis, The Palm. But we did make a stop at Nakheel Mall to visit the observation deck called The View at The Palm before that. I must say that The View at The Palm is a must-visit for all tourists because you can get a 360-degree view of the entire Palm Jumeirah project from the 52nd floor of the Nakheel Tower. The View at The Palm is not as popular of well-known as At The Top at Burj Khalifa, which is packed with thousands of tourists everyday! Here, The View at The Palm is much more relaxing and you can take all the photos that you want without having to jostle with other tourists for prime photo spots or have other people butt their heads or limbs into your photos!

We also walked around Atlantis, The Palm, but we didn't enter the Aquaventure Water Park or the Atlantis Aquarium. There are a number of restaurants here and we had shwarma for lunch. Overall, it was a good visit and worth your time and effort to come out here. As a tourist, it is better for you to take the public transport to get here.

PROS
* Amazing and exciting experience
* Fantastic place to visit
* Unbelievable to consider that it is all man-made and artificial
* Glamourous and exclusive buildings, stores, shopping centers, residences
* Exclusive monorail is different and relaxing and gives an overview
* Better view still is from the 52 story overlook of View at the palm

CONS
* Crowded streets with a lot of traffic
* Somewhat difficult and challenging to navigate by private car
* Every frond street is a private residence blocked by a guardhouse and gate- no entry

"I VISITED THIS PLACE'...
.... as the first stop on my first day in Dubai. I so wanted to see and experience it. It is so massive and one cannot believe nor comprehend that this is an artificial island, totally man-made 15 years ago.

I was so enamored of the place that I visited three times in eight days first to ascend to the View at the palm and Nakheel Mall, second to explore the entire Palm Crescent in both directions and to walk and explore its "boardwalk" and the third time to the Pointe.

ADVICES
* Of course you have to go
* It's a good idea to ascend the View at the Palm
* Ride the monorail all the way to Atlantis, The Palm
* Enjoy a restaurant- we went twice to Elli's Cafe in Galleria The Golden Mile
* Explore the boardwalks of the Palm Fronds in both directions

Such a Long Beach with huge rocks and a great view to the Atlantis. Many activities can be done there like helicopter hire, ski jet, swim and walk.
