About
As one of the Emirates' oldest traditional markets, Dubai Gold Souk has over 350 retailers trading tax-free gold of different carats, designs and weights. There are also precious stones, strings of pearls, platinum and silver available here. You can bargain at the market, and enjoy better rates when paying in cash. To reach the Gold Souk, you can take an inexpensive abra ride across Dubai Creek, and combine your visit with nearby attractions like the Bur Dubai Grand Mosque, Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood and Al Seef.

    NEGOTIABLE YELLOW METAL MARKET
No fun. Only gold jewellery which is expensive because of heavy making charges being charged. Though it’s negotiable but did not expect such big margin difference after it was negotiated. On Old Baladiya street, adjoining Gold Souq there is spice market Herb Souq. Beware of duplicate herbs specially Saffron. They add essence to call it pure saffron but it is simply some hairy weed coloured and perfumed. I suggest only ⭐️⭐️ to the place

The Gold Souk is defiantly worth a visit in Dubai. Best time to visit is in the evenings. Wear flat shoes as you will do a lot of walking. In addition to the gold and Jewellery you can buy the following other items . Spices Perfume watch out for fakes Designer clothing watch out for fakes You can also catch a very affordable meal in the many sidewalk cafes. They have high turn over so food is fresh. One negative is the amount of husslers that try sell you stuff and pull you into shops. Just ignore them and keep walking. Over the years there are a lot more of them sadly.

    Great to see but expensive
Worth a visit, The Jewellery was more expensive than I expected so didn’t buy there. Beautiful small handmade earrings, I expected to pay around £200 max they wanted £400 Didn’t purchase and they weren’t interested in reducing their price at all. They had so many staff selling. Never seen so many staff in a Jewellery shop. Definitely worth a visit to see so much gold.

    The Dubai Gold Souk
This was my third trip to Dubai and every time I just wanted to go to the gold souk. Like the name says, you’ll not just find hundreds of jewelry stores but also other shops selling a wide range of things from local perfumes, spices, clothes among other. I’m sure you’ll be blown away. Overall, I found experience was well worth the time. Highly recommended the Dubai Gold Souk.

    Gold souk
The prices are fantastic for the product you get, particularly if you are willing to negotiate and play hard ball for a better price. If you can't handle confrontation or haggling you'll still get a decent price compared to anywhere in the states. If you're in the area definitely visit but be warned, you will be bombarded to buy from nearly everyone so steel yourself and say no and continue walking.

    The Gold War
If you’re going to the Gold Souk then be prepared to haggle. They have beautiful jewellery but the price you get depends on how silver tongued you are. Generally, they are happy to decrease the price if you pay by cash. On another note, its a beautiful street, and you will get distracted at every corner, there’s street food, beverages, ice cream and even second hand luxury watches too for a golden price (haha). Seriously make sure you visit this place.

Lots of great choices for gold. Also offered lots of fake brands by people in the street e.g Rolex watches etc. Overall an interesting place to visit and a good place to get some shade.

    Gold souk
Gold souk in dera is famous for retail gold shops. We did our shopping from joyalukkas showroom. The varierty in designs was excellent. In this area, one can also get a lot of bags and perfume at a fairly reasonable price. If you plan to do shopping in dubai, must visit this part of the city.

Bargain, bargain, bargain. They really shoot random prices at you for really everything, so you have to be careful not to spend 150 euros for some spices.

If you want to see Gold Jewelry Shops, one after another like T-Shirt shops in Bali, then this is the place to go. I strongly advise you remove the credit card from the wife before you go.

From the name, the ambiance! Gold souk is everything!

The only place ine can find any kind of gold at the cheapest prices in the world!
Just be sure to bargain. Any price they give you can be bargained to get a good deal. Also try to look for shops that charge little or no maker's price if you are buying jewelry.
If not, then buy a gold coin or bar. Gold is an absolute best investment.

My favorite gold shop is and still remains Al romaizan

Whilst the shops are beautiful and gold is well priced the pressure from the hawkers is unbearable. You will definitely find beautiful reasonable priced jewellery but there are too many scammers in the souk. Constantly pressurising you bordering on harassment.

We paid severl thousand AED for a ring and when we got it back to teh uk 7 day later the quality was so poor it the diamonds fell out. A professionally qualified jeweller said it had been poorly made. I have asked for cost of repairs and GEMS Gallary refused.
