    Coffee, breakfast, and sharks!
The "Ambassador Dive" is a laid-back underwater adventure for all types of divers. It's like a chill 50-minute hangout with loads of tropical fish, rays and sharks! A perfect way to kickstart your day.

Once in a lifetime, do it
It was amazing to do both the Aquatrek Xtreme followed by Dive Discovery. You are accompanied by two pro divers. I was a bit scared for the first few minutes but diver Joel was seasoned enough to sense that proceed with the full dive of ~31ft for around 27 mins before my o2 started to near low. The dive chamber is induce the Atlantis aquarium with the Atlantis theme. People can see you from the large glass walls of the aquarium! simply put once in a lifetime experience for this who want to have a taste of diving. Thanks to the Joel and the dive crew.

    Exceptional
As far as aquariums go this is exceptionally clean and all the fish look happy with plenty of space. The main tank is magical. We took our time and went through some sections twice but we was done within an hour which was disappointing

Atlantis Aquarium!! must to take the fish tales tour 👆
Wowww so amazing!! You need to book the fish tales tour with Dan. You get so many insides about the aquarium.. Number of animals in the tanks, food per day, team size and you can see baby sharks and heaps of jelly fishes. It is a fun tour with a huge learning effect for both kids and adults 👌 Again, thx to Dan!!!!

    Interesting design
The layout is original and interesting. It makes you feel like you're in a sci-fi movie, as if you're expecting an alien to appear around the corner at any moment. Personally, I liked it more than Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Quite crowded. It is strange that in the description it is said that it is "the largest Aquarium in the Middle-East and Africa". It didn't seem very big to me and not bigger than Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. You need about an hour to visit it.

Diving in The Lost Chambers aquarium
Signed up for diving in The Lost Chambers aquarium and it was a very pleasant and amazing experience. Full diving equipment is available and it is well taken care of. Instructor Fabian is very clear on dive plan and help us out, in case we found difficulty in the water. Overall, very very good experience except that the sharks are mostly shy with the divers

Jan 2020 • Friends
I chose to dive in the largest aquarium 18.01.2020.

I was very excited as I am an experienced diver yet I was not impressed with the extortionate prices to dive in dubai with other diving centres in dubai.
Seeing as I was going for the day to atlantis waterpark I booked my ticket to dive with the sharks, fish, Ray's 650,000 of them.

I was dissapointed firstly with the cost if almost £300 for 30mins dive. But it was an experience so I paid for it.
All equipment included. A debrief. When booking my ticket No my dive certificates were not checked.
The debrief was great but simple. No basic explanation how to equalize etc etc (as I was in a group of 4. 1 who had limited english and yes was supposedly my buddy but he was not at all close or beside me on the dive)

Back to the dive, there is a slight current in the aquarium. I used my go pro hero 6 camera to take pictures. Hugely dissapointed as my pictures were blurry most of them.
However there was a camera man, although each picture was costing between £10-15 each.
Diving with the sharks, Ray's and fish was amazing a great experience.
In a confined space so I was very comfortable and happy. Had it been in an open space I would have ditched my dive buddy.
As I got out and got ready to view my pictures at the kiosk I was praying that the pictures were decent enough to even buy them although having spent so much money already what was an extra £15 for a great photo right?
I had 24 pictures of my own to scroll through. Out the 24 not 1 picture had me and a shark or a ray! Out the 24 only about 4 of me was looking and I can make out it was actually me. Was I dissapointed YES! Very much so as I paid a hell of a lot of money for this special occasion.

If you want to dive go to OMAN. My trip is limited, i have not drive abroad so it would be another 2hrs drive each way from dubai.

Atlantis shark dive do I recommend it? Yes and No. If you have the money yes
Was the experience great? 15mins No due to the dive buddy!!!
Was the pictures great NO.
Was it money well spent No.

Atlantis water park dubai - shark dive. It is too pricey. The camera man needs replacing and huge disappointment.

Overall, nice aquarium but must say the length of the visit and insightfulness doesn't justify the entry price.

For about EUR 30 (incl. some reduction), I would expect an attraction which takes longer than 1hr to visit and have more insightful / entertaining explanations. Here you just have about 20 aquariums with different species. If you don't make the visit entertaining for yourself, you end up doing the tour in less than an hour. Info is provided on ipads hanging on the walls, but not so informative.

On the positive side, the surroundings are nicely done in atlantis-theme (albeit including some fake Atlantis facts), it wasn't busy when we were there, people were friendly and we got a discount with our Emirates boarding pass.

We visited the Lost Chambers and signed up for the lesser known ‘Fish Tales Tour’ . I felt compelled to write this review as Kavindu was our guide of the Aquarium and the Fish Hospital . He was so knowledgeable, interactive , professional and friendly and we learnt so much about the different fish, rays, sharks and jellyfish in the care of the Atlantis. The Fish tales tour is a fascinating insight into the behind the scenes care that goes into these beautiful creatures . Kavindu really made an effort to explain as much as possible , taking his time and showing us every inch of the facility ! Thanks so much Kavindu !

My husband booked and paid for a scuba diving experience at The Lost Chambers Aquarium so I had no chance to opt out! I have a big fear of going underwater so I would like to thank my diving instructor Cliffer for being so patient with me. It took me a while to even dip my head in the water and I only went as deep as 4 metres out of 10 but it was still a big achievement. Definitely a great experience for water lovers!

I am a PADI IDC Staff Instructor with over 3000 dives and was with my partner spending a few days at the Atlantis. She wanted me to dive in the aquarium so she could take photos.
I was accompanied by Mila and he was very professional before the dive, throughout the dive and after.
Thank you Mila, you were great and the other members of the team as well.
It was a very calm and agreable experience I recommend to all divers and sea lovers.
Thanks so much.

My dive instructor was Amir! He was awesome - very professional and knowledgeable. This was my 75th dive but I’ve never done it in a large aquarium with over 250 species. The guide did a great job handling a 14 year old young diver. The equipment was New. I would definitely go again. I would recommend bringing your own go pro. The pictures are over priced but I appreciated the camera guy. It was really nice to just dive again. I saw 4 different kinds of sharks - they left us alone for the most part. Lots of manta and sting rays. It’s one of those experiences you have to try. There wasn’t any hassle or worry everything was provided and handled for us. I highly recommend going if you haven’t.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium is among the main attractions that forms part of the Atlantis The Palm resort. With free access provided to the aquarium for guests of the hotel, it is a nice attraction in its own right.

The Lost Chambers has very good dim lighting, which allows one to see and appreciate the vast variety of fish swimming in its waters. It is not an aquarium, which overwhelms you with information about the fish species, instead, it allows you to get close and appreciate their gracefulness.

For casual visitors, it's not too expensive and is a good place to visit. One can spend approx. an hour here.

Wow! We really were blessed by our visit to this aquarium. The Atlantis-themed decor was really cool but the way the tanks were designed was truly amazing. The eels tank and the the tank with the small eels pretending to be stalks of sea grass were so awesome. There is one really huge fish, which we learned from Noni, the wonderful education staff member who answered all of our questions, was called a Queensland grouper. This fish was so amazing it actually made me cry twice. Don't miss out on visiting this aquarium.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium, located in The Atlantis on the Palm Jumeirah, consists of some 12 aquariums displaying verious kinds of sealife creatures. At the center of it, you'll find a hugh tank with many big fish, notably sharks, rays, and napoleon lipfish. It's highly impressive.
All the aquariums and actually the entire experience, is themed around the lost city "Atlantis". It's done very well, but all in all does not look very natural. It was a bit too "artificial" for our taste.
Not surprisingly, the prices are on the upper end. Even considering the luxury environment and exclusive locating, we consider the experience to be overpriced.

This aquarium, located within the Atlantis The Palm complex, is fully wheelchair accessible and worth a look at the interesting display of numerous and various fish in different aquariums. Designed in the theme of Atlantis, The Lost City, as is Atlantis The Palm itself. It is also a cooling experience that beats the heat of being outdoors. Some nice photographic opportunities here too. Fully wheelchair accessible and a visit here can be included in your ticket if you are staying at Atlantis The Palm!
