The pier is a local hangout which is great! Away from the tourist stuff for a while. Took a beer down there and watched the sun set. Very peaceful.

We enjoyed wandering around the harbour and sat and did a spot of people / boat watching. If we had got there a little earlier there were fishermen selling fish that they had caught earlier on their boats. It really is a very pretty harbour...More

We spent all day from our cruse ship exploring this wonderful walled city. You can take the cable car to a restaurant and the most wonderful view of Dubrovnik.

Always busy this small city harbour. You can take a taxi boat to the Lokrum island, or just a taxi boat ride aroud to Elafiti islands.

The walled city of Dubrovnik sits proudly on the Aegean Crystal aqua sea. The harbour only heightens this Majestic, historical fortress. If you can, catch a water taxi and stay beyond the walls. Explore this delightful harbour and paved city, barefoot. It's pretty heated......in the...More

In the old days a well guarded port with underwater chains raised every night to keep unwanted visitors out. Nice area for a drink or a stroll.

The old harbor is a quiet place just outside the city walls. There are three entrances and you can take a nice walk to the front pier (benches provided). In the morning, you can find some fishermen selling their fresh fish right from the boat.

The trip costs 40 Kuna. There are regular, daily sailings from Dubrovnik Old Town’s port to the island. They sail to the Island two to four times per hour depending on season. The sailing takes just under 15 minutes.
