These beautiful ruins are definitely worth a look whilst on the beautiful Island of Lokrum.

The monastery is partially restored and worth seeing. Game of thrones section with iron throne is easy to find, though not purpose of trip (love the books, hate the show). Hap good lunch in restaurant. Now off to swim (after 30 minutes of course)
Lovely monastery currently under restoration in the gorgeous grounds of the old botanical gardens. There are lots of wildlife to see too. Including many peacocks, a variety of rabbits from fawn to black and lots of birds and lizards.
The monastery has been converted to Games of Thrones so that fans can see clips of the cast and crew talking about their time Filming here
