Awesome place to visit. We came in the off season and it was still busy. Lots of walking to be done, amazing views all around, plenty of places to eat and drink. Is expensive compared to the rest of Croatia, but thats expected, be prepared...More

This would have been a very nice and pleasant old town to stroll around, if not for the too many restaurants trying to get you in for their over priced food!

If you ever decide to go to Dubrovnik don't leave without going to visit the old city, and walk those walls. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing because there are lots of steps but its well worth it.

A stunningly beautiful Old Town seeped in history and well worth the visit. Try and get there when there are no cruise ships in as it can get very busy. Wear a good pair of walking shoes. The marble streets can get sloppy in the...More

Dubrovnik Old Town really is a beautiful place to visit. Full of history and also full of life. Numerous places of interest to visit plus an abundance of really good restaurants to eat. The absence of branded fast food outlets was a particular delight for...More

Very touristy but so much to do. We spent every day here and still didn't manage to do everything. Would 110% recommend.

Would recommend walking the walls but start early to avoid the crowds. They open from 8am. Wander round the old town and take a boat trip to Lokrum. Get the first boat out at around 9am and you will virtually have the island... More
