It's expensive to get out there (~$25 US round trip), but if you want to escape the crowds in town, worth it if you're going to spend much of the day there. The island is pretty but it's really a place to go swim and...More

Hi - We had a nice relaxing day on the island. If you have invested in a Dubrovinik card you will get a discount on the cost of the ferry to the island. We hiked to the top to find the fort and then relaxed...More

A "must do" day trip for visitors to Dubrovnik, and only a short boat ride from the Old Town jetty. The island is a wonderful venue, with great walks, good eating places, fun for a swim, and with an interesting old botanical garden. My only...More

We visited Lokrum Island on the recommendation of friends and we are so glad we did! For 150 HK you receive a return boat ticket to the island which leaves from Old Town and you have the freedom to roam the island for as long...More

Wandering around the island, swimming almost wherever you want, discovering outdoor cafes hidden, and spending time in the picturesque Dead Sea pool. The ferry was convenient as well. A nice leisurely day so close to the city

We went to Lokrum by ferry from the Old Port in Dubrovnik. We saw different exotic plants that we're brought there from around the world, peacocks and rabbits. We were ambitious and took the long walk to Fort Royale, the exercise is good, but the...More

People raved about Lokrum Island as a must-do trip when visiting Dubrovnik. Given the high price of 150 kuna we were slightly disappointed; we did similar trips elsewhere in Croatia for a third of the price. We started our day by hiking around the island,...More

Pretty island with some pretty, rocky outcrops to swim from. There are restaurants and a derelict monastery but most important is that you get to sit in the original Iron Throne. Like all other attractions, it’s 150 Kuna to get the ferry and access to...More

From the harbour in the old walled city. Walk straight down the stradum and you will find it. Not sure about the price, but the Dubrovnik card gets you a discount, depending on which version you have. The longer your card is... More
