Went on a day trip to Lokrum by getting boat from Old Town port. Just walk up and buy tickets from the crew, no need to pre-book. The trip there gives you some great views of Old City Walls. The island itself is beautiful with...More

Sometimes Dubrovnik can be overcrowded when the cruise ships are in and the tourist groups are jamming the streets inside the wall. Take the short 15 boat ride out to Lokrum Island and you are suddenly in another world. If you are a fan of...More

I don't know why somebody would give this 1 star for having to pay to get onto the island. It's free in the price of the boat tickets. Just because somebody didn't do their research properly first or got the wrong idea off a travel...More

A 15 minute ferry ride from the Old Town and a great place to spend a half day or longer away from the hustle and bustle of the town. At this time of year sunbathing and swimming was still possible but a walk round the...More

Lokrum is really nice island to see, nature is extraordinary, untouched and so calming. You can walk all around and enjoy.

We actually enjoyed the island quite a bit. The peacocks were beautiful and we saw the biggest rabbits that I have seen in the wild. The hiking paths were a bit rocky. There was a cafe for lunch that was ok, not stellar, but ok.

I went there as it has a GOT aspect. However, there really isn't much to see other than a replica iron throne. It's a fun 15 minute boat ride but honestly not much to see once you get there
