Rather than walk up to Mount Srd in the hot heat we decided to grab the cable car to the top and back down. Despite the price for a short journey it was a good experience and gave a great view of the city you...More

Was such a respite sitting in the restaurant and taking in the beautiful view of Dubrovnik. Though cable car views are common, they are still amazing.

Get here early in high season. It gets really busy after 10am. We were lucky to be there around 09.30 and had to wait "only" 20min for the cable car. When we returned the waiting lines were 3x times longer! U have a nice view...More

Cable cars are one of the must do Dubrovnik experiences. However, having been on cable cars in Capri I must admit that this one felt more like an over priced public bus. It is cool going for a ride up the mountain but the inside...More

While the view was fantastic, the long wait in the hot sun to go up dampened our enthusiasm. Then there was the wait to come down again....

Stunning views over the old city and out onto the ocean. For the keen, the walking track that zig zags up the mountain is breathtaking.

Amazing view. Such a pity that the bar area doesn’t have any seats. Beware of roaming charges as some networks think you are in Bosnia (outside of EU)

From what we experienced I don’t think you’d need to book the cable car in advance. Not sure about the restaurant.

Dont bother, catch the cable car as the ticket you buy is a return, its a very steep incline and the road is about 5 times as long as the cable car. You can get a taxi down but why pay more when you have already paid for the... More
