There are many stalls here however they pretty much all sell almost the same thing with little variety. If you need souvenirs there are plenty… just know there is not a ton of variety. The vendors were all very friendly with no pressure to buy… only to come look.

Such a lovely little market place. Colorful, welcoming people, lots of high quality products. Free toilets, bus stop nearby. Easy walk from major hotels in San Bentio, safe area.

I love this market for local products. It's a market of local artisans and I found an indigo table cloth! You will love this market. I took a taxi from my hotel. Some vendors take credit cards, but not all do so. Also, I couldn't find an ATM nearby, so make sure to bring dollars.

I would plan to spend 1-2 hours at the market, it's rather small. I believe that there was an eating area, but it looked empty.

Beautiful, unique and affordable place for anyone, the opportunity to search for the proper momentum is here. The prices are very good and the items are beautiful in an amazing range of sizes and designs.

This place is comprised of several souvenir shops. There is tons of items to choose from. There is no ATM so bring cash. You can find items from $1 and up. You can negotiate your prices. Several of the shops carry the same items. If I would guess I would say there is probably 30-40 shops. One restaurant and one snack bar.

I loved this market. It's somewhat small, but it's safe and it has the best selection of artisan handicrafts. I purchased an indigo table cloth and a hand embroidered runner. Before coffee, indigo was El Salvador's key export, it's used to make blue dye. Natural indigo is incredible and ask around to see the colors from El Salvador.

Some of the souvenirs are cheap, but there are true gems here. I had my taxi cab wait for me. Here is a tip, bring cash, there isn't an ATM in the market. Many of the stalls do not accept Visa. I also didn't see a bathroom, there is a small restaurant.

The number of stalls and prices were underwhelming. The craft store downtown is much bigger and prices are lower. There isn’t as much of the pressure selling that there which is nice, but the variety isn’t the same.

- Easy to walk to from our hotel
- Felt very safe walking there and back
- Super lovely vendors (none were at all pushy)
- Products didn’t repeat as much as I thought they would (or as much as other reviewers have suggested)
- Loved the huge mural at the very back of the markets!

Only real con? Much smaller than we’d expected — we were in and out in about 30 minutes.

Various local handicrafts, like t-shirts, hammocks, paintings. Vendors ask for high tourist prices with some room for bargaining.
