make sure you use the restrooms before boarding bus at base. do get your passport stamped ..its unofficial and free. walking sticks must have a rubber bung to avoid damage to Inca stone. there is so much to write about this world wonder

You currently do not have to have a guide. Many people entered without a guide when we were there a few weeks ago. From what we heard that rule will not be enforced until next year.
