This plaza is so cute! You can really feel the Spanish influence here. There are two beautiful Catholic Churches in the square. We happened to be there during a “carnival” so there were traditional dancers, water balloons, spray, and loads of locals having so much...More

Very well maintained. Plants are luscious and plentiful, decorating the square with color. There are shops and restaurants along with churches. It's a lovely square. Great to just walk around and soak it in.

Clean, visually arresting, grand central plaza in Cusco. Has your usual blend of trinket/touristic, and an unfortunate army of hawkers and street peddles, but that's the price we pay when we travel. A great blend of better local restaurants, and of course, junk food operations...More

Everything you expect from a cities main plaza. Lovely buildings with not just a lovely church but a pretty cathedral too, lots of shops, bars and restaurants. It's over quite a large area with a right mix of passers by, locals, tourists and numerous backpackers....More

Cusco needs to make it illegal to hawk your wares. I couldn't talk with my girlfriend walking through here because there were to many people I needed to tell "no thank you," or "I don't want," or just "stop!" personally, I'm allergic to this stuff.
