Yep, I’m that obvious American tourist that just lost their money, credit cards and passport to a stealthy pickpocket, literally in the space of 18 seconds. So sad that those people are out there. The hassle of getting everything cancelled, ordering an emergency passport, etc...More

Absolutely delightful due to a festival taking place with full bands and parades. Really busy and noisy with hundreds of locals taking part. Lots of restaurants, souvenir shops and money exchange places dotted around. I felt the Centro Artesanal Cusco was better value for gifts.

The Plaza de Armas is one of the more scenic plazas in South America. Great place to hang out for a few hours as there are often activities, festivals, events going on.

...I mean how many massages can one person have? Obviously the cathedral is beautiful as is the church...but it has become SO touristy that it has lost it's soul.

if you want to take pictures of the plaza get there early in the morning as it is heaving once the day starts. Lots of people trying to sell their wares, and people thrusting leaflets at you to go on tours.

I enjoyed walking and sightseeing Cusco’s Main plaza, the area seems to be alive any time of the day and night. You can visit the main Cathedral, visit the little shops that sell an array of Peruvian trinkets, fine art, artifacts, services, and typical Peruvian...More

We had a wonderful time at the Plaza de Armas. We were fortunate to be there during the festival of Corpus Christi!

An impressive town centre best admired, in my opinion, from the balcony of the Norton pub where a selection of English-style ales was on offer.
