A nice walk with huge wood slabs carved with words of wisdom. A nice thing to do while exploring the monestary and Big Buddha but not a strong enough attraction to be a destination in and of itself.

If you're in the Big Buddha area and enjoy walking in the forest, there is a very pleasant 15-20 min walk (each way) to get to the Wisdom Path. It's a woodland path, so trainers of stouter shoes are best, but you'd be OK in...More

It is a nice walk to follow the path when you are at the monastery or the big buddha. The posts themselves are ok but it was the walk that i enjoyed the best. That’s perhaps influenced by the fact that I could not read...More

Situated just off one of the Lantau Trail, and also a short walk from Ngong Ping cable car station and bus terminal. Despite it being always quite crowded, coming here always give me a serene and peaceful feeling, though my Chinese is too poor to...More

We combined the Wisdom Path with Po Lin Monastery and Big Buddha. It was an excellent idea especially for a sunny day (we were lucky). You walk through nature and you can enjoy the warm sun, the serenity and the plants. The path has some...More

Serene and peaceful walk... Something special compare to other trekking trail in HKG. Don't miss the observatory deck just few steps away (heading to Phoenix Mountain/Lantau Peak)... Nice view!

I don't know what every message tells on every wood but the thought that they take effort to carve the letters on it and erected it, i think it should be powerful. I love the simplicity of arrangements. It doesn't really attractive but the location...More

Breathtaking. A must visit after dropping by at the Big Buddha. It’s only walking distance and you’ll pass through a peaceful and quiet trail. The trail itself has great sceneries. It’s a flat trail so don’t worry about any inconvenience.

This is a nice quiet walk from the Tian Tan Big Buddha down a pathway in the woods. You'll pass by some abandoned buildings that have overgrowth from the surrounding nature, which make for some nice photos. Just a relaxing attraction to just take in...More

There are signs that will guide you there, just keep following them. It's about a 10 minute walk down some paths past the Buddha (away from the main walkway to get to the Buddha)
