Probably one of the highlights of our trip in Hong Kong. Can't stop gushing about how awesome Mel is. He tailored our itinerary based on what we liked (aka food) and had interesting trivia about places we visited. We discovered the best DanDan noodles, saw a beautiful garden and temple in the middle of the city (not at all touristy), ate good egg tarts etc. Felt local! If we're back, we'll definitely book him again.

Fantastic day with Sinclair getting to know Hong Kong. We were first time visitors to Hong Kong. Started with a dim sum breakfast to learn local cuisine and culture. Then walked and public transited through Hong Kong as we learned about the sites, culture, and tastes of the city. Sinclair showed how to use all forms of public transit. So the next day we visited Lantau Island ( MTR and bus) on our own. Then that night we traveled across the harbor on a ferry and returned on the MTR after seeing the nightly light show from the WatchTower - great suggestion from Sinclair. Sinclair’s tour allowed us to see all of what we wanted to see in the 2+ days we had in Hong Kong. The tour is well worth the price. And Sinclair is a 5+ star guide

Everything was great from pick up to drop off. Sinclair was knowledgeable. I was very happy that i took a layover tour and able to see so many places. My guide clicked my pictures at every point which was great and awesome. A lot of hong Kongs history was shared.
I would just like if hello hong kong can include a couple of more places. I really wanted to go to Quarry Bay. Upon showing the pictures, my guide was not able to recognize the famous fat building. Price was a bit too high for the public transport tour. (US $475)

Just wanted to thank Hello and in particular Sinclair, for a great morning yesterday on the Hong Kong food tour. We had such a great time exploring Hong Kong island and eating our way around!
The Dim Sum at the start was a real experience. For me, the absolute food highlight was the roast pork later in the morning.
Above all Sinclair was so engaging, friendly and informative, would highly recommend

There were 7 of us in the group and we were taken around Hong Kong with our knowledgeable local guide Alex. There was a lot of food on the tour, food I would not have had the chance to sample without a local as I wouldn't have known what to look for or how to order. I enjoyed tasting all the new dishes that I had not tried before. Alex also took the time to explain more about the history of Hong Kong, from the language origins to the history of some of the places we visited and the dishes we were trying and even the housing issues Hong Kong is facing. The walk can be rather fast paced but it wasn't too difficult considering the was a decent amount of walking. I would recommend the tour for people who would love to try what the locals eat.

I was in a cruise and usually main concerns to take private external tour is to have the option to go and back to the ship and avoid to reach out a meeting point. With Hello Hong Kong the offered me transfer options and also customized the tour I took. They always kept in touch with me and provided me all the information and contact info for the transfer driver and guides. Great option to get tours even you are in a cruise ship

Mel was an amazing tour guide! He made sure our tour was very thorough, and was very knowledgeable about all of Hong Kong and its structures. He made sure to take me into the parts of Hong Kong that aren’t geared towards tourists, so I was able to really experience HK. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide!

We had the best 4 hour private tour in Hong Kong with Ryan. We landed at 6am and had a 9am tour time. He picked us up at our hotel and we were off. Prior to our tour, we were asked what we were interested in doing and what we wanted out of our private tour. I made a list of everything I thought we should see. Ryan was able to get us to everything we wanted that was possible in 4 hours. He was so kind and so knowledgeable. He showed us gems that would have otherwise missed and gave us a detailed e mail of other places we were interested in that we could see on our last day. He even dropped us off at our next tour. Ryan was awesome!! You will be happy on any tour with Ryan. We were so lucky to have met him. Thank you Ryan!!

Mel was knowledgeable, organized and very informative as our guide to Lantau Island. He didn’t overwhelm us with information and was patient with our many questions. We booked a private tour, which is highly recommend for the high level of personalization.

We had a wonderful food tour on Hong Kong Island. There were 6 people in total on the tour and it was lead by Sinclair. We made many local food stops during the tour and sampled quite a few different foods. Sinclair did a great explaining the foods and history of the surrounding areas. Really top notch. Don’t eat before you come!!
