Everything is organized to sell you stuff all along the visit from the moment you step out of the tram. It goes get annoying at some point but the view is a million dollar one.

We went on a Sunday morning - the Star Ferry was pretty well empty at around 9am. We got to the tram at around 10 am and had a 20 minute wait. The line up was much longer after that.
