No visit to Hong Kong is complete without a trip to Tsim Sha Tsui. This small area has plenty of splurge boutiques and upscale restaurants. The view of Hong Kong Island from the Star Ferry pier is amazing.

We normally stay on the Tsim Sha Tsui side as they have more things to do there and easier to get around. The shopping, food, markets etc all there.

TST is the most happening place in Hong Kong with Shopping malls, restaurants. etc. Most of the main hotels provide shuttle trips to TST from the hotel till night.

The "unusual streets" in Tsim Sha Tsui - Walk and explore and you will discover more. Bring water because it's expensive on the streets.

TST is entirely flat and full of buildings and people. I dislike that much amount of crowd, but if that's what you are here for, then go for it.

For me, Tsim Sha Tsui is far more interesting than Hong Kong Island. For 1 it is easier to navigate. The main road is Nathan Road. There are shops for all ages and all requirements. Some you can haggle the price others not so much...More

We loved this part of town, lots of people, lots to see just wandering aound....and lots of snacks! We spent time just in a little park nearby and loved it!

TST especially Nathan Road is crowded with people. With many shops, restaurants and attractions. This is the tourist area of HK
