This is strictly not a tourist attraction but a shopping mall that serves local residents. Fortune City One does not consist of tourist boutiques or fancy restaurants; instead, all shops are for those living nearby. The lush courtyard is an ideal picnic option and offers a glimpse of the whole City One Shatin, the largest residential project in the Shatin area.

Fortune City One is a small local shopping centre at the City One in Sha Tin. This is a decent place for local residents of City One where you find places like Watsons, lesser name retail and consumable goods shops, local eateries as well as expected fast food and coffee shops the likes of McDonalds and Starbucks. There is also a wet market and basic Park-N-Shop supermarket
This is a good stop for those staying with friends or family in the City One area but not a shopping venue to target as a visitor to Hong Kong. You have much larger and better shopping mall experiences and shop varieties of all manner at the New Town Plaza in Sha Tin or Sunshine City in nearby Ma On Shan.
In the end, make use of the businesses at Fortune City One if practice and convenient. Head elsewhere to experience Hong Kong's better shopping opportunities and experiences.

It is a small shopping mall slightly situated away from shatin town centre. However, if you walk or cycle along shing mun river, this is a good place for you to go.
There are a lot of restaurants.
Yummy.

Stayed at the courtyard Marriott which is about 5 min walk away. This mall has everything we needed: restaurants (McDonald's, KFC, but for local sit down dining I recommend Fook Choi seafood restaurant, and for dessert I recommend Hui Lan Shan downstairs in 'zone 3'), and places like Mannings where you can get shampoo, medicines and other bits. From the Marriott you can take the shuttle or walk: cross the street from the hotel so you are on the opposite corner, walk along this road to cross the bridge, then cross to the opposite corner again and keep walking with the bridge behind you. First road, take a right and the mall is ahead and on the left hand side. On the right side is a good noodle restaurant "Praise noodle and congee"

Fortune City One along with City One Plaza is a fairly large commercial area in the middle of the large residential location of City One in Sha Tin. It includes several buildings and is primarily designed to cater to City One residents. Here you will find convenience stores, pharmacies, fast-food, sit-down restaurants and coffee shops. There is a Park-N-Shop grocer and traditional wet-market as well.
On the whole, there is nothing wrong with Fortune City, it is a functional place for local residents. Although with the completion of the two King's Wing Plaza shopping centres just 300 metres away over the canal at Shek Mun, the Fortune City commercial buildings is now showing its age more than ever. It will continue to serve their purpose for City One residents indefinitely but now offers less reason to those from elsewhere who will now prefer the newer and more interesting shopping spots popping up nearby in Sha Tin and Ma On Shan.

I have been staying near by for a long period of time and this shopping mall is a great place to pop into. It has a good amount of shops and restaurants which are all well priced.

It's right by the Courtyard Marriot that we stayed in and the hotel shuttle takes you straight here for free. There's a Starbucks, KFC, and a 24 hour McDonalds for those who want to stick to something they know. There's also a japanese fast food chain there called Yoshinoya that was sooo good that me and my mom ate there twice. There's also a bank there as well. That place and also the surrounding area has so much to look at. It's great if you just feel like spending the day in the local area. You can see kids there with their friends eating after school. It's a great spot to observe local life, away from the tourist. Everything you need is there.
