DROP has established a reputation of the best house music in town in its 13-year business in Hong Kong. It offers an intimate atmosphere with eclectic people which guarantees one of the best nights out in Hong Kong. Founded in 2000 by internationally renowned DJ Joel Lai and experienced Hong Kong actress and producer Colette Koo, drop has remained at the top of the nightlife entertainment scene in town.Since the beginning, drop has always prided itself in its hideaway location, which makes it a perfect venue to relax and let it loose.drop is also a perfect place for small to medium-sized parties. We offer to accommodate any function including private party, cocktail reception, launch or press conference tailored with total flexibility to your needs. With a capacity of 150 people, drop provides an intimate setting for daytime events as well.

At first I thought it’s because some African people in Hong Kong do bad things so I decided to pass by the bouncer let me in Nd there was three people literally empty.after buying a drink the managers had to call the bouncer to let me out.when I asked why they told me it’s a members club😂funny it seems tourists are members everywhere.so I peacefully left bt it was clear to me it’s a racist thing.not all black ppl are bad.they would rather keep an Indonesian drunk Nd high on drugs not buying any drinks than a decent African buying her drinks.its disgusting for a known club.🧐thank God there is other accommodating clubs in hk

I stopped by this club during my visit in HK. I have to be honest i am a pretty hot girl however they still charged me at the door to go in. I was offered for one drink ticket. It was Saturday night around 2.30 am, the club was surprisingly empty. I came here because i am very into deep house music and have seen many good house music DJs in many different locations/cities.I didn't know anyone in HK so I sat there for awhile to have the drink and hoping the music could get better, but the music was nothing comparable to other places i been to in other countries/cities.
But the most shocking and horrible thing was that after i finished that drink, i was asked to leave the club by a service staff! He said because the manager didn't like me. I asked him why? I said i didn't do anything wrong i was sitting there drinking my drink. He refused to tell me anything and just told me to leave the club! It was soo rude and insulting. I am a very attractive women and I am a finance executive. People are usually very nice to me in clubs and parties and offered me free entrance/drinks etc. I can't believe i was treated like this there for no reason. What can i say? Very unreasonable and rude !

Good club, probably great club for Hong Kong standards (less corporate / wealth orientated - more music orientated). Currently home to Lost and Found hosted by Man One & Broadback. If you love real house & techno, this is the place to be!

This hidden gem inside a small alley (if you’ve lived in HK and do go out then you’ll know where this place is “hidden”) that has great music. Weekend late nights can become very crowded.
Look for Ebenezer Express Kebab for the entrance.

If you like clubbing and house/techno, this is a place not to miss!
In the middle of the nightlife district (LKF), Drop is an nice place with just one dancefloor, a central bar to get some drinks, and EXCELLENT techno/house music! Compared to other nightclubs with typical EDM, this is a whole next level. Don't miss it

Great place for people enjoying electronic music. Always had a great time over there even when it is quite packed.
Can't remember every nights I had over there, just know that is was quite fun.

Definitely one of the best clubs of hk... very nice music selection and fresh cocktails, the place is packed on wkends so remind to go early , the staff is very friendly, definitely a place to visit if you like to party hard....

My wife and I stopped by Drop this past Wednesday (9/10/14) for the 'Fantastic Voyage' night and had the most amazing time - great music and not too crowded, in fact hardly anyone which was surprising considering how amazing the music was. Not sure if the place gets busy later - we left at ~2am, but regardless we had a fun time drinking and dancing. We had such a fun time on Wednesday that we returned the following night (9/11) which was also fun, but we had to leave a bit earlier.
If you are looking for a non-douchey spot to drink, dance, and listen to some great tunes in the company of a good crowd, this is the place.

Having lived in Hong Kong for a year and a half and going out my fair share, discovering Drop was like finding a diamond in the rough. I was sick of the same music, the pretentious crowds and same scenes in other clubs- Drop is otherworldly. When entering and going through the heavy curtains into the club you are immediately taken by the centre piece of the bar and then the music hits you. Never have I ever had a bad night in Drop, never has the music let me down. It is worth a visit and I guarantee you will keep going back!
