The area
Neighbourhood: Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.

Most of the boutiques were closed and there were a few food-related shops together because of the typhoon.
It was probably on the same floor as the city supermarket, but there was an onigiri shop on the end, and it smelled good in the soup stock. They also sold oden.
The shop assistant boy told me in Japanese that onigiri is imported and dashi is made here from kelp.
I haven't eaten it, but I was curious about Oden.

Complimentary parking at IFC should be HKD500 spend for 3 hour. Bought over HKD700 worth of Venchi chocolate and paid HKD1000 to purchase the 10+1 coupons. IFC Customer Service rejected free parking with reason being that I bought coupons to pay for the chocolate? But I did buy the chocolate and not only bought coupons for future use? IFC Customer Service staff was impolite as well. After challenging them which should not have been the situation, they offered the parking ( but said just this time?!)

A higher end mall located in the financial district. IFC stand for International finance centre.
One of the biggest draws of this mall is the Apple store.
You can easily access this mall by MTR and getting off either at central or Hong kong station.
The mall has free WiFi, umbrella lending and mobile battery charging and other complimentary services.

I have visited this mall various times in the past, and it is one of the malls in the business district that you can shop, and the Apple Store is definitely one of them. It has 2 office blocks and quite a bit of eateries, clothing, accessories and luxury brands, and is connected to the MTR. Worth popping by if you are in the neighbourhood.

I am here everyday as my office is in the complex. Very clean and well kept. Whatever vendor options are here you can assume are expensive.
Conveniently located to the MTR and Airport Express. If you work in the complex, you can get everything you need done here except for dry-cleaning or laundry service.

This is quite a nice mall with office block and is connected to the MTR. The usual brands can be found here and there are many eateries and cafes. Good place to hang around for a couple of hours, especially if you are working nearby.

This shopping mall fails to excite me. Location is good near star ferry and hk station. It has several floors with restaurants (normally quite pricey), a department store, cinema, coffee shops, supermarket, plenty of beauty shops and some high end stores.
It is very airy and bright.
If you are nearby you can walk pass and check it out. However it is not worth it to go out of your way to see what is there.

IFC Mall is a great place to visit. It's very clean and well-kept, with many international brands to shop from. There are also plenty of coffee shops and restaurants, so you can enjoy a meal or a drink while you're there. The mall is easy to reach because it has its own metro station. Overall, it's a convenient and enjoyable spot for shopping and dining.

IFC is spotlessly clean. No vibe of Hong Kong inside. Elitists from anywhere in the world would feel right at home.

you cannot locate.

Given that you will arrive in Kowloon all you need to do is catch the MTR to Central and when you exit with the aid of well signposted passages you should get to IFC without too much trouble. If lost you can ask the help desk at the MTR or most locals who are English speaking to some degree.

If you take the ferry, the ferry terminal is 100m from IFC mall.

Is this place right at the very top of IFC? or is it the one that you can by taking the lift to P4? I think this one is just on the 4th or 5th floor isnt it?

It is just above the station. The escalators from the station lead you directly into the shopping mall

Isola to me is so-so, at least the few times I was there the food was inconsistent and service was not great. There's RED Bar & Restaurant ( on IFC 4/F with outdoor seating ) that is not exactly Italian - Italian but fusion Italian where the food, view ( go at night for stunning night view ) , service are a lot better.
