Lovely mall near the harbour on Hong Kong side. Many shops and very good Lane Crawford Department store. Plenty of decent restaurants but crowds are common. For better Chinese restaurants, you need to make advance reservations.

HK has all these walkways which are a much more efficient way to walk around and avoid all the traffic and cross walks on the street level. The walkway around this mall is air conditioned to boot which you will appreciate in the hot summer days. Lots of very high end store to window shop or do some serious shopping.... More

I was here with my friend Winston. This is a very good mall with both upscale and more mainstream shops. Certainly a very good place to visit

The IFC Mall is a busy high end shopping centre. It is not for daily use by local people as it is full of the most famous brand names in the world. It is always busy and is close to the a Star Ferry and Airport Express Station. So always plenty of tourists flowing through. The Apple Store is magnificent... More

If you like shopping, the place to be, plus more. Is at Central, where the MTR, Airport express train leaves, from, as well as Peak Bus #9, and the bus to Stanley markets, M270.

The mall has a number of popular stores for tourists to shop it. They also have a various restaurants and cafes to grab a meal at. There is also a supermarket where you can buy a number of different things to take back with you. The mall is right above the central/hong Kong mtr station and you can also take... More

The IFC mall is a great mall with all the name brand shops and restaurants. If you have time to kill while in Central this place is a must. The Grocery on the first floor is a great place for snacks, picnics or take home and cook foods.

There are numerous shopping gallerias in Hong Kong and Kowloon. This one, in the International Finance Center (IFC) happens to also be located atop the MTR (metro train express). The Star Ferry terminal (Central) is a short walk away as well. Every major brand seems to have a boutique... Prada, Louboutin, Chanel, Gucci, Ferragamo, Cartier, Chopard, and more. No price... I am not a big brand name kind of shopping but this mall had fair prices for most upper end brands. It is near both the Hong Kong and Central MTR stations and when it is rainy a great way to spend an entire afternoon. Don't miss the view from the top especially at night.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
