Very glitzy mall and worth a visit just to see it. Too many designer stores for my liking but, nonetheless, worth a visit. Difficult to miss if you're journeying through Hong Kong Station. Nice to visit if heading to Mid Levels, Queens Road area. Huge Apple Store.

Many shops , on top of the MTR station and city check in terminal for most airlines; it is where you buy your return train ticket to the airport

Really busy, difficult to navigate - okay if you are looking for brand name shopping, but of absolutely no interest to me.

The IFC mall is in the middle of Central, Hong Kong as well as the city's financial district. The shopping mall is focused almost exclusively on upscale and brand name shopping and is also linked with the adjacent Four Seasons Hotel. The retail shops attract many Mainland China tourists looking to stock up in the latest brand name items and... More

Not quite. The scale of malls in HK and Kowloon is amazing. There are the high end ones with grand hotels and every designer brand you could want to look at. They have other floors with mid range brands and of course plenty of places to eat and drink. Be prepared, the cafes on the designer label floors have similarly... More

an excellent shopping mall right next to the bus terminal. It has lovely shops, restaurants, a famous tea house (selling high-end tea) and is a pleasant place to visit

The mall is no different like upscale malls. But the pluses of this IFC Mall are the gardens, the view from the open area and the captivating giraffe eye at the LV store.

If you've got the dough, then by all means go! It's not for people on a budget unless you are into people watching and window shopping. It is a great kick off point for other attractions and you can beat the heat and get some great food to eat also. A very nice mall.

One of many such malls in Hong Kong, offering lots of top-end shopping, if that is what you want. We found wandering the streets nearby to be more interesting. However, it is connected to a network of elevated walkways which connect various buildings in the area.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
