The biggest disappointment during our Hong Kong trip. A very large park, built in seventies, now quite tired. Grand Aquarium (we really expected more), some basic Disneyland type attractions, a cable car, train to the top of the hill and some water attractions. Only the dolphin show was quite interesting. The whole place looks very dated. Although the tickets are quite expensive, it’s difficult to imagine how this park and the neighbouring Marriott hotel can survive!
We will definitely not come again, wasted time and money.

Bought a toy projector that Costs $50 HK, totally not worth it. Can buy on TAOBAO for less than half price with a lot more films.
Not only over priced but also Bad quality.
Used 3 times and the torch projector jams and breaks.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied experience.

Bought our tickets on Klook. They had great tourist discounts. Arrived and staff were pleasant and it was well organised. Toilet facilities were very clean and actually had air conditioning. Cable car was peaceful going up towards the rides section of the park. Loved seeing the animals, although believed some of the enclosures could be a little bigger. Rollercoaster is super fun and if you can concentrate whilst on it, it is one of the best views at the park. Saw the red panda and giant panda having feed times. Would definetly come here again. One thing to do: arrive at park opening time and catch the cable car straight away to the ride section and get that done with first, as when we finished and came back to the remainder of the park, the line was over an hour wait.

I took my 7month old daughter to Ocean Park and we had a great time! There were so many fantastic animal attractions my daughter was mesmerised. We saw Pandas, sharks, sea lions, penguins and loads more animals all in one trip. The Aquarium is huge with loads of interesting viewing positions keeping her interested and to be fair every exhibit was fantastic. We went on a fairly quiet day so there were not massive crowds and no lines really which was amazing and ment we could get round the whole park without rushing but even on a busy day it still would have been worth the wait in line. Unlike other parks there were rides suitable for smaller children. The park was pushchair friendly and there were lots of baby changing facilities. You could hire pushchairs there but they weren’t suitable for small baby’s so we took our own. The app was great and allowed you to look at the various attractions and create a favourites list it then puts them in order as to there location so you can plan your route around the park. I filtered out any rides/attractions that were not suitable for small children and came up with a route around the park to make the best use of our day. We’re we’re able to take the pushchair on the cable car folded down to go up the mountain and over to the other side of the park then got the new 4minute train ride back at the end of the day.
We took a picnic with us but the food and drinks on site were to pricey.
A really great family day out and highly recommended.

The most beautiful site I’ve ever seen an amusement park located at.
There is something for everyone: animals and rides for the small children, huge aquarium for the bigger ”kids”, and astonishing views from the cable car over the Hong Kong Chinese sea and archipelago.
I didn’t have time to try out the roller coasters and other rides, but I’m sure you can spend a fun and unforgettable day here.
Access to the train station is convenient.
The beach is nearby too, if you want to combine that.

Neptune's Restaurant and Ginger Grill in ocean park. This must be Hong Kong's worst restaurant, there is no service and the food is overpriced and tasteless. we had to wait so long just to be given a menu (which was so dirty and creased ). A very ordinary menu and prices are very high let alone serve poor quality food. I will never again take family or friends to Ocean Park Restaurant .

For Americans this place is not comparable to SeaWorld but more like the good Aquariums you might find in Gatlinburg and Newport/Cincinnati. I thought the admission price of about $16 was a little high for the Philippines but still a bargain compared to US prices. My last visit was 2016 and it has definitely improved since then
It’s easy to spend a couple of hours here. There are numerous great displays as you go through the different sections. Kids I saw were having a wonderful time and adults young and old seemed to enjoy as well.
Most everything you want to see is on the first floor. The second makes you walk through long corridors to get to a small display of penguins followed by a “Christmas Village” that is nothing other than a place for photo ops. You can save some time and just skip floor 2.

I arrived at 10:30pm for rides and there isnt long queues for early arrivers. The “Hair Raiser” is truly a nightmare to newbies for rollercoasters!
I can feel my bottom lifting up a bit when we got flipped over! 10/10 for the rollercoaster experience but im scared so badly.
The food here was ok but they are so expensive! 6/10 foods for the price. For reference, 6 pieces mcnuggets with large fries and large coke costs ~76$HKD!
The animals here are super cute! The air-coned north/south pole animal zone is so chilly yet so comfort, best when you are tired and feel hot!
The ocean park experience is overall excellent yet expensive.

Theres a mcdonald inside ocean park and also other food stall there.
I am considered plus size (though not super fast) and definitely bigger than Asian size. How would I go fitting into the rides? Are their tester seats before you queue for ages?
Thanks!

Im not sure if they has a tester, but i think you can fit to their seats. And in the ocean park there's a lot of attractions not just a ride, and you should be ready for a long walk. 😁

No but they do on occasion have a splash zone set up! Sprinklers and other water features for kids to run and play in. Best to go online and check before your visit as it’s not all the time!

With the ongoing protest will it be safe to travel now in hongkong? because i already made my booking and it is non refundable thanks
The protests move around HK mostly causing travel chaos. Check before travelling to see where disruptions are occuring and avoid that area. Otherwise you should not feel any other impact on your visit.

Is there any water game for adults or only dry adventure games are there.

I did not see any water games for adults in the entire Park when I was there in January this year. I am not sure if they added any recently.
