This is our first time here. We had a good and happy day. However it does not live up to the (high) price. There are very many personnel and in the pools, you can do almost nothing, how many times did we get the whistle? I asked them and they could not even explain why the whistle at my 5 and 9 years old boys. The rides are fun and thrilling, can’t however understand why the waiting times are that long… When the people upstairs are down, it should be able to open up for the people upstairs. Now the people downstairs at places, especially at the rainbow slides where too tough on having us leave too fast out of the fenced area. The food options are mediocre. The changing rooms are great. The luggage storage boxes are all with the same depth and can not really take a suitcase. Will we be back? No I don’t think so, it is too expensive to what we got and especially the restricted attitude to “fun”. However, for a one time visit, yes. For a second visit, perhaps not.

…given that there were a few problems. To start with the many positives: if you go at this time of year, there were hardly queues so that was fantastic to be able to walk on nearly all the rides. The Vortex, Cavern Chase and Sky High Falls (all multi-person rafting rides) we’re by far the best, with speed, turns and drops aplenty. The individual drop ones from closed caskets are great too. The water was too cold in the two pools but that wasn’t a problem after getting in for a bit. However, given how new it is, parts of it looked tired and old already and the whole design looks like a leisure centre/mall combo complex from 90s Britain…which is a strange aesthetic choice! We ordered some food too, which was actually quite nice.
