Kings Wing Plaza 1 & 2 are commercial properties that opened just outside the Shek Mun MTR a few years ago. What you will find here are typical towers where the upper floor office space, churches, tutorial centres and other service related businesses while the lower floors are shopping centres with retail and service shops, casual eateries and coffee shops. Kings Wing Plaza 1 is a bit more modern with glassed in shops, quite a few local restaurants, a couple of western cafes, Whitehouse Coffee shop as well as a HK Identify Card replacement centre. Kings Wing Plaza 2 has some of the same category of businesses including a large ground floor bar and cafe called Golem and coffee shop called Coti on 2/F. The first floor is arranged like a traditional arcade like shopping space with lots of small units selling all manner of foods, retail items and the likes. Overall, Kings Wing Plaza is an improved shopping venue in the area compared to the Shek Mun Shopping Arcade located on the other side of the MTR Station. Some fair restaurant options for those staying in nearby Courtyard by Marriott and Alva Hotel by Royal.
