Yue Man Square (YM2) is a shopping complex located under the Grand Central residential towers and around a large bus terminus in Kwun Tong. This commercial venue was developed as part of the Urban Renewal Authority's Kwun Tong Town Centre redevelopment project at the location of the historic Yue Man Square. YM2 is open from 10am to 10pm. The property is modern and with a nice design. Shops are rather simple. On the ground floor there is a Yue Man Lane where you will find quite a few food shops, casual eateries, retail shops and convenience stores. You will also find some artistic installations as well as a couple neat scale models of the historic Yue Man Square scene from the past. In the basement level, there is a clean and tidy indoor street market bazaar that is setup as well, all providing space for those displaced by the renewal project that forced them off the area streets in the area. In the end, YM2 is just fine for residents of Grand Central as well those who live or work nearby. However, the shopping and dining are fairly limited compared to nearby shopping malls.
