Needs some care and attention…

…but still a decent play area to visit for free whilst in Sha Tin. The main climbing frame bit is really tall and was very challenging for my two-year old but she enjoyed it immensely. Big queue for the boat so we didn’t go on as it was far too hot.

Showing its age but still a fun escape for little ones at New Town Plaza

Snoopy's World is located on L3 of the New Town Plaza Shopping Mall in Sha Tin. Built in 2000, this was the first Peanuts themed outdoor playground in Asia. What you find here is a small themed park that is free to enter and explore from 11am to 7pm daily.

There are basically three attractions, a traditional children's playground area, as well as a large scale model school bus which children can enter and play around. Lastly, there is a small boating canoe ride attraction (12pm to 6pm daily) where parents and children can sit on a slow moving canoe for a 4-5 minute ride. Throughout Snoopy's World park you'll find the famous Peanuts characters and other child friendly decorations.

On the whole, compared to the modern and innovative play zones and interactive game areas found in malls around the city (Yes - one is coming to New Town Plaza in Oct 2022 as well), Snoopy's World has started to feel outdated in recent years. It has not changed at all for at least a decade now. So there may be better options for your children in other malls around the city these days. However, it is still fun escape for the little ones who live in the area and those shopping or dining at New Town Plaza.

Awesome place to take photos with your favourite characters! Free of charge but check the weather before going. They close on bad weather.

Worth your time if you're in the area

A short visit to the Snoopy World is well worth the time (if you're within Sha Tin). It's free, and albeit a little small, children would have fun with this.

Very Cute Display

In Hong Kong with adult son and we came across this area outside in a plaza. We just looked around and watch kids having a great time. It is built for little kids. Thing to climb and just have fun. River water ride is so cute. If you enjoy people watching you will like this plus great mall connected to Snoopy World.

Visit to Snoopy’s World at New Town Plaza

Visited at 6pm but reached the queue for boat ride few minutes after and wasn’t allowed in. Despite pleading for letting our 5 years old boy ride on one since we flew from abroad, the staff was inflexible and refused to allow us in. Do come before 6pm if you want a little boat ride.

The playground is quite small and could keep my 5 year old boy happy for almost an hour. It was not too fun for our 9 year old girl who only played for half hour.

Snoopy’s world ended at 7pm so it was a good hour spent there. If only we have arrived at 5:45pm and took the little boat rides, it would have felt more complete.

Lovely afternoon with small children

My family and I visited Snoopy World for an afternoon. With a small boat ride and lots of opportunity to take photos, this is fun for all.

Cute for photos if you are older but aimed at little ones for playtime

Small park dedicated to Peanuts and the gang at Sha Tin metro station in the New Town Plaza mall. Take exit A from Sha Tin metro and walk straight through the mall. When you exit to go outside you will be greeted with a topiary saying Snoopy's World and various Snoopy statues and the entrance to the little park.

I was only there for fifteen or twenty minutes to take some photos but there is a small boat ride in canoes. There is also a play area for children and a school bus that adults and children can board.

All in all, an adorable little place for photos for Snoopy fans.

Great picture-worthy spots

A free playground for Snoopy lovers and both kids and kids at heart. This can be found at the top floor of the New Plaza Mall, so do not be confused in locating it. Indeed a nice place for colorful and great picture worthy spots!

A place in Shatin that you can explore for free.. it will bring back your childhood memories. You can bring your kids here and they will definetly enjoy the lifesized snoopy and friends. You can see it besides NewTown Plaza.
