This bar has resurfaced in Peng Chau from Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island. The very nice owner opened early for a group of 3 and provided cold beers and cider and some simple but delicious snacks. It was a very happy afternoon before getting...More

I just loved the atmosphere and the people on Peng Chau. We arrived very late and managed to buy a few things from the supermarket which is well stocked. To our joy a Thai restaurant was open and to our greater joy the food was...More

It's a very small island that you could walk around within a day. No cars honking around and main street is located just behind the market/pier. You could rent a bicycle if you could ride but prefer to walk. Try to pick an Autumn time...More

Peng Chau Island is well worth a visit. The ferry from Central on Hong Kong Island arrives in a small traditional village. This is well worth a look. It has many small shops and restaurants. One special place to look out for is the bakery....More

You can get to Peng Chau by ferry from Central or a smaller ferry Kai To from Discovery Bay. Peng Chau has no cars, lots of bicycles and narrow streets. Nice place to see. There are lots of local and western restaurants, and even ATMs.
