I absolutely love shopping at citygate ! The variety of stores and amenities make it a one-stop destination for all my needs. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient layout always make my shopping experience enjoyable. Plus, the dining options are fantastic! Can't recommend it enough for a fun and stress-free shopping day.

Wheat Tonight, we went to a dining shop at 119 Floor 1, 18-20 East Road, Dongguan City, Dongguan. In this cold evening, a delicious pot party is the best choice! We offer LV4 Black Angus Cows and SRF Ultra Black Hair Seafood for premium meat and fresh seafood. Choose Hokkaido quintessence from the hot pot and taste full of ocean. American shoulder beef and SRF American super black cattle, fresh meat and excellent taste, combined with Australian grain black angus cows and special selection cows, guarantee to satisfy you. In addition, the Japanese pepper and sandwiches are delicious to not miss. The combination of raw dishes and winter mushrooms adds a refreshing taste. A variety of desserts such as frozen drinks, tofu flowers, pineapple ice cream to make your time after meals more perfect. More importantly, Ouzo Restaurant offers excellent service, so that guests can enjoy the taste of the food while feeling a warm and welcoming atmosphere. # Wheat # Shop No. 119 of 1st Floor, 18-20 East Road, Dongguan City, Dongguan

If you are in the area, but not worthy of a special trip.
This mall is located on Hong Kong Island not Lantau Island. It is connected to Tung Chung MTR which is where you will get the cable car to go to Lantau Island. I briefly stopped here and browsed a few shops after visiting Lantau Island. Very busy. Shops were average. If you are in the area, but not worthy of a special trip.

    Ordinary mall
This is a big mall but there is nothing special about it. The stores are pretty much the same as we see in North American regular malls. However, prices were expensive for the same things we get at home at much lower costs. We stopped here for a bite after visiting the Big Buddha.

It's about 15 minutes by bus from Hong Kong International Airport. The cheapest way to get to central Hong Kong is to take the MRT from Tung Chung Station, which is directly connected to the airport. If you have a layover in Hong Kong of more than 5 hours, it might be worth visiting. You can experience Hong Kong casually. It's a huge outlet mall with a variety of shops, and even on weekdays it's crowded with many customers. There are restaurants serving Japanese food and shops from around the world, so it's fun. The supermarket in the basement is also interesting. Many restaurants and stores accept Octopus cards, so you can eat, drink, and shop cashlessly. However, prices are higher than in Japan, so you need to check the prices.

Citygate Outlets is one of the main outlet malls in Hong Kong, and a go-to visit for its over 80 international brands. We were here on a Friday noon time, after a short hike of Scenic Hill nearby. Not too pack but the chinning aircon is definitely gratifying to us (been hiking outdoor)
A 4-storey bldg. and basement the Shops Discounts is anything from 30% onwards off the original price. As with all Outlets setting the offerings are in good quality & authentic but are likely from previous seasons. Some of the many designer boutiques you’ll find includes Calvin Klein, Tommy H, Timberland, Nike, Geox and some mid-tier luxury boutiques. . Products range from clothes, footwear, electronics and accessories, to sports equipment, beauty products and even homeware. In terms of F&B there are also few establishments to go for, we have a chilling time at Pacific Coffee trying their frappe & pastries. At the basement level there is also a TASTY store that is large and some Pharm stores too.
Generally the prices here are higher compared to OUTLETs in Japan or European Outlet but still consider good than buying back in city (Jordan, TST, Central etc). And a lot of the Higher brands of Chanel, LV. We spent a good 2 hours and I bought from Nautical, N Face, Crocs. Surely a place that we will drop by whenever we are in HK, at least to check out possible bargains!

this outlet is quite large and you definitely get your steps up . There are so many shops and most of them are the large brand names like Quess , Marc Jacobs and Levi etc. We found that the deals that the shop s had were not that cheap in Australian dollars so we did not but anything from them but thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the items.

Citygate Outlets is a different end of the spectrum to Staley and the Wan Chai type markets.
Its more like a regular shopping complex but with prices that are terrific. As an example I saw a pair of Rockport shoes I bought in Sydney for $319Aus on sale for $120 Aus.
It is certainly a place to visit.
There are also food outlets such as Starbucks and it is close to the Cable car. The railway MRT is below so getting there is a 30 min train ride from the city.
I think it is better then Schengen particularly as you have to get and pay for a day vias into China to visit it. That perhaps raises revenue but it put us off going and thus cost them money.

This is a large outlet centre which can be a lot of fun if you’re in the mood to shop and browse. All of the stores are genuine. There are no fakes or copies here.
and the centre itself is an attractive space.
The shops are a good range of high-end (Armani, Chloe, Hugo Boss, Kate Spade) to mid-range stores (Ralph Lauren Polo, Pandora, Levi’s, GEOX, Guess, Kenzo). The discounts are significant and can be between 30 -75%.
Sportswear and running shoe outlets are mainly grouped together on the G/F. You will find all the well known brands like Nike, Adidas and New Balance.
I find it an easy centre to navigate and most of the shops have changing rooms (which is not always the case at outlets). The range and sizes of clothing are limited and most styles are last season’s but that’s to be expected with outlet shopping.
There are several cafes when you need a break. I tend to head to Pret A Manger which is tucked away near one of the ground floor exits. It can be relied on for a decent sandwich, wrap, salad or soup.
The only issue with Citygate is that it’s at Tung Chung on Lantau, which is a fair way out of the city. However it is not far from the airport. If you have time to kill before a flight, this is a handy place to pass the time. It is only a very short taxi ride or you can get the S1 or S64 bus which will get you there in less than 10 minutes. I believe that they have luggage lockers at the centre but I’ve never used them.
Otherwise the most convenient way to visit is to combine a shopping trip with a visit to the Big Buddha and Monastery. The centre is opposite the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and right outside Tung Chung MTR station.

I just left the place without spending a dime. This so-called outlet is definitely not a good place to get bargains. For those shops and items which I know of the prices, they are all very expensive.

I saw the same pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses which I bought from Singapore Changi Airport at normal price, it costs a lot more in this Citygate outlet.

So I don’t recommend that you waste your time visiting fake ‘outlet’.

Being local I only visit This mall every year.
A lot more shops and an extension of some higher brands shop which was good to see.
In general though is not an outlet cos is not even cheap ?! Some shops forces you to buy 4 items to get more discounts.

Food options were ok.

Comments - no bargains, simply out of season and approx 10% cheaper than the outside shops

Not recommend for the journey

Citygate Outlets is the largest shopping mall complex on Lantau Island. This is first and foremost an outlet mall with around 150 shops offering their products at slightly discounted prices. Opening hours are 10am to 10pm daily.

In addition to your expected range of retail shops, there are a handful of affordable restaurants as well as a UA Cinema as well. The mall is well located for those staying at the Disney hotels, Airport hotels and other Lantau area guesthouses which are in reach of Citygate. You can transport to the mall by taxi, Tung Chung MTR Exit C and Bus S1 from the airport.

Dont expect to come here for cheap buys, because you wont really get good deals Anything that is cheap, or heavily discounted, is highly likely to be hideous or grossly out of fashion.
And many of the retailers are not selling with discounts too.
So it is just like a regular mall, with a "direct outlet" facade.
Disappointing!

DONT BOTHER.

More expensive than in the US. For the exact same Kate Spade item, it was double at the outlet here than at the outlet in the states.

Also, good luck trying to navigate the outlet. Do they do this on purpose? Everything is confusing and the staff are rude.
