DarkSide is a sophisticated, timeless celebration of rare aged spirits, vintage cigars and confident classic cocktails complemented by sultry live jazz. Our dark spirits selection spans back to the early 19th century and includes exclusive casks of single-harvest tawny port from 1969 and Grande Champagne cognac aged in oak, as well as an extensive library of choice rum, whisky and calvados. Spending our last night in HK at Darkside was the best decision we could have made. It was genuinely an amazing experience, from their drinks to the ambiance.
Subi, our server, was really friendly and attentive. She gave us amazing drinks recommendations which perfectly suited to our taste and ensured we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Will undoubtedly return when we next travel to Hong Kong.

Mostly positive experience:
Drinks were amazing, food was great, but best of all was the bartender Aashish who took care of us. The jazz was amazing; who doesnt like a massive rendition of Sade's Smooth Operator when drinking a Krug? Truly chill vibes.
The only "downside" was a complaint from my spouse. He wore 3/4 length slacks that was deemed not acceptable, and he willingly obliged in the borrowed pants. yet after a while we saw some people with shorts get seated table after table. he was visibly upset at the double standards.
Final verdict: Worth a go, but get dresssed right

What a nice experience. Love their environment and locations. Very good service especially KT and Nicholas, they are very friendly and professional . Love the jazz music , it was amazing and the cocktails are so impressive. Thanks their recommend. I’m sure will come back again!

This is my second visit to DarkSide, and the music is definitely my main draw for returning. Mihi is a gem. She is an outstanding performer with a phenomenal voice, and there is really no better way to end your evening than to treat yourself to her singing. Everyone else in the band is skilled as well. Shaun delivers impeccable sax vibes. I really think it's impossible to have a bad time with these musicians.
The service is great and the staff are friendly. I don't drink alcohol, and the non-alcoholic drink options are yummy.
I would recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Heard great things about the jazz at DarkSide so we wanted to try, however upon entering Rosewood, things were off to a disappointing start. I approached one bored-looking staff member who was standing in the lobby to ask for directions, and she pointed vaguely in the direction of where the bar may be, without looking or speaking to me, which was jarring from a luxury hotel. Not quite the level of warmth of the Ritz-Carlton or even Sofitel .
The hostess at DarkSide was friendly, so that was a plus, and the jazz was great - singer was vibing with the band and crowd.
The bar team were friendly enough, but cold in the sense that nobody recommended drinks, or asked what our preferred tastes were, or tried to engage in conversation. Maybe they wanted to leave us alone to enjoy the jazz. Bar snacks were OK, price as expected for a luxury hotel.

9/10 to the DarkSide team and Mr. Alex Ma@ the Concierge: -
1. Super beautiful hostess smiled and welcomed us as soon as I walked into DarkSide.
2. Very flexible and able to accommodate my request: counter seats.
3. Prompt & attentive, Nicholas & Sulab took care of our drinks and arrived promptly.
4. Thorough knowledge of the drinks and ingredients – nice presentation about the MJ cocktails!
5. The team checked on us regularly to ensure we were OK.
6. Refilled the olives, proactive staff and showed awareness of our needs in advance.
7. One of our drinks was a little too sweet to our likings, Nicholas apologised sincerely and remade a tasty drink for my colleague. He can right the ‘not-so-wrong’ and handled this immediately.
8. I decided to order some takeaways from the Holt’s cafe and the team was kind enuf to give us a hand. The team brought some chocolate to taste while we are waiting for our takeaways.
9. AND – a sudden request from my son: which I needa print out a worksheet for him. Mr. Alex Ma at the Concierge simply went above and beyond to get this done for me. Service like this that will keep me coming back again and again (if I am lucky to grab a seat at this popular bar).
10. -1, the takeaways took longer than we were expected – and I had to take the bill and settled it myself at the Holt’s café.

It’s my second visit at Darkside. I wanted to come back to try new cocktails and also I had a great time at this place. First visit was really special, me and my family stayed in Rosewood Hotel overnight to celebrate my mom’s birthday,We first checked in then we visit around the place. Second visit, We had lunch at Blue House and seated outdoor. We wanted to have cocktails but unfortunately they said the alcohol drinks are not available, so sad! 😕
So, we went again to Darkside.I was really amazed with the place specially when we enter the reception area. I met Nadia who welcome us here and KT, the assistant manager recommended me their special cocktail theme called “Moon ”. It is one of a kind experiences from hostess til the bartender, it’s all wonderful. Especially, from Muna with excellent service.
If you like to have a very chill relaxing atmosphere, try this place! I will definitely will come back to try more different cocktails.❤️
