We've called for a reservation many times but no one has ever picked up the phone.
When we arrived at the place and asked for a walk-in table, the receptionist is terribly rude and racist.
She mocked on our accent and gave us a seat in the bar section but luckily she gave us a table after we told her we/re there for dinner.
We order a set dinner for two and the food got us both disappointment.
The steak is too chewy even my friend tried and said so.
I have never been treated in this way in other same price range cuisine.
This is such a nightmare in my life ever.

I met two friends for afternoon tea at Dear Lilly. Was surprised how small the restaurant was, partly because the very romantic decor used cage like booths for individual tables and therefore took a lot of room in order to create a more private setting. We sat in the open area by the window and so had the better. The view of the harbour is great. The afternoon tea set was $318 for two persons but as we were three, I asked if tea could be served for three and they said they could add a third for the same per person price (ie. $159) if all three tea sets were served on the same tray.
The 3 tiered tray had 3 scones on the top deck - either raisin or plain, the second tier had 4 different desserts and the bottom tier was a selection of 4 different finger sandwiches - a good amount of food for afternoon tea. Scones were OK but nothing special. Of the desserts, our group liked the Coconut Vacherin with the tangy passionfruit curd and the Canele was a nice surprise with the Jamaica rum as it was not very sweet at all. Best of the finger sandwiches for me was the shrimp and crab cocktail sandwich. I had tea and my friends chose iced lemon tea since it was hot. As I liked strong tea, the restaurant was happy to put in 2 tea bags for extra strength.
Service was prompt and we enjoyed our afternoon tea very much.
In terms of unexpected things, after I sat down the server came to advise that there was a 90 minute dining limit. As it turned out, we actually stay about 1 hr 45 min before staff came by to discreetly mention there was another reservation coming in soon and so we quickly left. Nevertheless, I think the standard practice for restaurants is, and should be, to advise of any dining time limit during the booking process and not after I had booked and already arrived at the restaurant. There was no mention of a dining time limit when I made my on-line booking on the restaurant's own website and neither the confirmation of reservation e-mail nor the subsequent e-mail asking me to confirm we were coming made any mention of a time limit for the table.
A second fault, which I have seen frequently mentioned in other reviews, is that the phone for the restaurant is never answered. I wanted to inquire about dress code since the weather was extremely warm and tried calling the restaurant in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening on different days. I let the phone ring 20 times or more but it was never answered. I then sent an e-mail making the inquiry and only when I sent a second e-mail captioned "PLEASE RESPOND ASAP" on the day of my reservation did i get a response.

I went there several times. The cocktail are fancy and nice, the view is great. Tried the High Tea recently with my little daughter: it lacks sophistication but the deco does the job and the price is very reasonable. I recommend.

I was made to wait over half an hour for the main course, which arrived cold and poorly cooked. I was with my family - 3 of us ordered burghers and none was appetitizing. Mine in particular was raw. This is one of the most expensive meals I’ve had considering the poor quality and entire lack of service. No one apologised or took any remedial action. Very very poor.

Watch out for hidden charges!! “ Donation”
They don’t ask you if you want to donate or not!
They just bill you with it !!!
Sure, it’s just $1 dollar. But it’s not ethical to straight up put it on the bill without customers prior consent!!!

Their response was” it’s only one dollar. If you don’t want it it’s fine. It’s just what our company do. We automatically put it on the bill”
On top of all that, you get charged service charge when you have to serve yourself!
You have to physically go to the bar to order a drink. When the drink is ready, you pick them up from the bar and bring it to your own table. You get you own water. What’s the service charge for?!?! I’m confused...? They just want to take your money in any way possible with minimum amount of work.

Wonderful place to hang out in and have after work chat with friends and coworkers. I love the decorations and the theme. It is obviously a great place as the restaurant was packed when we came. We sat outside though and the view was just wonderful. The weather is just right, chilly and not hot and humid which is the best time to be outside to be honest. Although I can't say much about the service since we were outside so it's basically serve yourself. But if you really want to have dinner there (which we did outside) you should book in advance so they can reserve a table that will serve you.

We returned a few times to Dear Lilly on our recent trip to Hong Kong as it was such a lovely place to spend the evening.
The cocktails are unusual and delicious and the food is very tasty and well-presented.
The 5 til 8 happy hour was also very welcome! We’d certainly recommend this bar.

Dear Lily is the perfect spot to have a girl's hangout or a romantic place to take your date for a lovely dinner. The restaurant itself is very unique as it whisks you away into a fantasy with the backdrop of elegant and floral architecture. The interior design are incredibly beautiful as the ceiling are filled with thousand of different kind of flowers as well as the gorgeous views of Victoria Harbour. Apart from that, they offer delicious food including afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. However, if you're not interested with their food, Dear Lily also offer tasty and refreshing cocktails with a unique presentation and reasonable price. You can either choose your drinks from the Menu or customised it (Talk to the bartender). Overall, I have a great experience. They got the best customer service especially their bartender and manager (extremely friendly and wonderful people!). I'll recommend this place for those people who are looking for something different. Also, come here in the afternoon as you can enjoy the sunset view.

小編來過2次吃晚餐了，覺得Dear Lilly的設計很優美典雅，有很多個位置都能拍出好照片！
第一次是三個人來的，要了1個前菜、2個主菜、一個甜品和3杯cocktails。
前菜的這個吞拿魚已不復存了，其實第二次來晚餐就是為了它，它的sause很令人留下深刻印象又美味。
主菜是Wild Mushroom Risotto($178。不過不失，份量多)和10oz USDA Beef Strip Loin($288。有一點點過熟，配搭的sause很不錯)，另要了Sides的Truffle Skinny Fries($78)。
這個甜品亦是已不復存⋯明明就很美味的說！Btw很多時就是這樣，覺得好吃的東西總是沒有第二次機會吃到呢！
要了Signature Cocktails($118-158)的Mad Enchantment($128。茶杯型)、Sigmund Freund($138。黃色那杯)和Mademoiselle Lilly($118。紅色那杯)。
第二次是2個人來的，只要了一個前菜，一個主菜和2杯cocktails。
前菜的是Slow Cooked Octopus($128。很香口，內裡軟軟的，回頭之選)。
