If you don't want to go to Disney, but want to try some activities for young people, I recommend trying SandboxVR. It also has stores in Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay, which is very convenient. Playing one game is already very tiring. I think you can play two games at most at a time, otherwise you may faint from exhaustion! Hong Kong Sandbox VR has quite a lot of open plots. According to the style and painting style, there are horror-oriented "The House of Corpse", "Mileage", "Liberation", "The Gulch of Corpse", etc. There are two-person battle modes or team interactions for up to 6 people. After checking in, the staff will help with the detailed equipment wearing. The equipment is a bit heavy, and I don't think about whether it is completely disinfected! Ha! It's fun! . There are not many manual explanations before the experience. On the contrary, there will be about 5 minutes of teaching time before the experience begins. After the official start, the staff will pay attention to the player's experience in the background, which is very friendly to novices who have no VR experience. The game screen is smooth and very real, and the weapon operation and motion capture sensitivity are also high, which is very fun. You can also communicate with your teammates, rescue each other, and cover each other. We are a team of beautiful girls. Some team members played too seriously and fell down many times in the VR game. The staff outside would pause the game and wait for us to stand up before restarting. Everyone was at ease! I played a fun zombie game
It felt like I was completely inside the game
We had staff who could speak Japanese, which was really rare, so we tried a variety of games.
The VR games here are really special, and seem to have been made by a team in Hong Kong
Next, I'm planning to try the latest squid game.

Sandbox VR is pretty well established in Asia, I have tried their games in Singapore. This Hong Kong Center provides consistent service as the one in Singapore, and the price point is similar at HK$288 per person per game. We played Amber Sky, and had weapons to hold on to for shooting and there was wind blowing at us at times to simulate the scenarios when we were up in the sky. I recall that the jacket would vibrate too if we were hit but maybe my jacket wasn’t working that day - my point is that it can be pretty immersive 4D kind of experience if everything works. They impressed me with their quick turnaround to generate a video right after you have completed the game. We rested for about 10mins before they came over with our scores & a recap video of the game play which was sent to our email. Nice momento. I think VR gaming technology is still being improved so it will get better and cheaper with time, someday we’ll be closer to the movie Ready Player One.

We took 3 children there on a Monday afternoon. Unfortunately, the other mum picked the wrong scary zombie game for them, we admitted we made a mistake on that, but the staffs do not let us to change it, since they said the game started a few minutes already, and our session time would finish soon. Their next session is full (believe it on or on a Monday afternoon). So we paid over $1000 for only 5 minutes game time!!!! Kids got scared at the same time were disappointed. Will never go again.

Bureaucratic, stiff and unfriendly - knows nothing about customer service. Horrible experience and will never come again after being here repeatedly.
Came to change my reservation.
Sandbox: “our policy is that once you booked your date and time it’s unchangeable”
Me: “ok but your timeslots are wide open can I just push an hour?”
Sandbox: “We cannot do that because the system locks itself and nothing can be changed”
Me: “What if we just come an hour late you just leave the reservation as is?”
Sandbox: “we can’t because the system shuts off the reservation”
Me: “you can’t manually change anything?”
Sandbox: “no”
Experience itself is fine. Staff service ok, but the whole reservation experience was robotic and infuriating.
One star so that this gets management attention.

Beyond some basic gameplay on PS4 titles and some some pretty poor shoot ‘em up on a stag do, my VR experience was non-existent and I wasn’t really that bothered about the idea...before I played this. Now I am planning on returning as soon as possible to play the other titles. Deadwood Mansion was intense, exhilarating and utterly, joyously fun. We all loved it!

A great experience in which you feel fully immersed in. Great to try as a couple or with up to 6 friends. We tried Davy Jones, but they have 4 other games (which we will definitely go back to try).
The staff are very helpful and are there to support/supervise you throughout the game. Aiden in particular was very helpful, he even sent us video footage of us after.

Our party of two had a great time doing the Star Trek experience. Look for the right elevator (not hard to find, but we made a quick assumption and ended up in the wrong one. :)
As soon as we walked in, our experience started. They got us set-up and then we were in!
The visuals were great, the story line was strong, the sensitivity of the VR equipment was very good, and we had a very fun experience.

After many VR experiences in Hong Kong and internationally, I can say that this is my favourite! Free-roam, super accurate, not laggy at all, and super fun! You also get some videos for your memory in the end. Service was great. Love it!

他們有5種遊戲，當中我們玩了店員說是最刺激的鋼鐵星空Amber Sky 2088，真的好好玩！遊戲是free roam可以到處走。一個是防禦型有護盾，另一個是進攻型。超級像真，要是被打到的話背心會有震動。在遊戲裡面的精準度超高，可以握手，拍膊頭等等！
太期待再回去玩其他的。

It’s so hot for outdoor activities in Hong Kong now, it’s one of the best activity to play with with friends. Apart from the nice virtual experience, the sound effect is also nice as well.

I think much younger would be an issue because of the size of body gear and the adventure themselves which could be quite spooky for much younger children

We went to go here last night and the man in the foyer operating the lifts said that sandbox is closed. I asked if it is opening tomorrow night and he said it is closed and gone, doesn’t know if it will re open. I seems very weird as there are reviews from 2 days ago. Can anyone confirm sandbox is still open? Also do you have to have a group of 4 as there is only two of us?

When I try to book on line on the sandbox site, I can only see the tst branch. Can anyone point me in a different direction?
