Almost impossible to catch a taxi on weekend evening. But shopping and restaurants are good. Great place for a photoshoot. Constantly bring clients here for some fashion and urban pics.

Sanlitun is a good area to kick back and relax whilst visiting Beijing and there are some pretty decent bars in the area. This is also the area you can watch a Chinese football game at the Workers Stadium or catch a DJ in the...More

I visited the area during the evening. It is a disappointing if you're not interested in shopping (all luxuries brands have stores here). During the evening they're very few restaurants that are open, and the main street hosts several sleazy bars which remind red light...More

Walking in from line 10 - Tuanjiehu subway station will give you a feeling that you are probably walking the wrong way as you will pass by a Norwegian Embassy and then walk within the compound of an Army Hospital. Lots of roadworks enroute. High-end...More

SanLiTun Bar Street has changed since I first visited in pre-Olympics in 2007, the strip of seedy bars and hawkers is now more refined. As this street is being ‘refined’ you will still have the old hawker and see the pile dancing but you can...More

Has lots of options from seedy to family friendly all types of music some of it live but it all lacked character or a sense of being felt like any other metro downtown area was a let down as an attraction overall

a large variety of restaurants and bars (some with pole dancers, but mostly with life music). nice area and good for a walk. downside: it could be anywhere in the world in any big city, and therefore lacks a bit soul.
