About
Once a summer retreat for emperors, this 290-acre park is still a retreat for the crowd-weary tourist, who can relax here or stroll around ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lake, stopping occasionally at a shop or tea-house.

Very scenic large park with lots of Chinese character such as old relic Chinese buildings and signature arch bridge. The frozen lake for bike skate is the major highlight for kids.

Wow! Don't miss the intricate details to the buildings! Beautiful place to walk around. A guide helps with the history. It does get crowded so avoid the busy times by going early.
