As I've been many times to Beijing before, I was looking for something new. I heard about this place and wanted to try out, well it was a great idea! I went with kids so I was a bit afraid that they will get bored...More

The area itself is pretty cool. Since I went in the off season many things were closed. Only some art galleries were open. I’m sure during season it’s much more interesting.

A very cool place to spend some quality time whether you are an art fan or not. Built on a site of an abandoned warehouse makes a nice contrast between the cold industrial setting and the warm arts.

The area was full of dainty cafes and nice shops that offer from handmade crafts to technology stuffs. I bet it would be better to visit in the morning.

Take at least a day to see 798. It is a gift you give yourself. Brazen and wonderful and brilliant art. Loved it. Good places to eat as well.

About a 5-10 minute walk from the Metro and well worth a visit to see the vast range of Chinese contemporary art. Most exhibitions were free. Good places to stop for a coffee or something to eat, and to watch the locals go by.

This place makes you think twice about art life in Beijing and may deconstruct your opinions. It was a nice afternoon there and enjoyed the creative mood.

This little art enclave on the premises of an Iron Rice Bowl era crafts workshop has several interesting galleries with works by contemporary artists, but also just a few too many knickknack shops. Maybe I'm being just a bit harsh by giving three circles instead...More

I believe that many of the galleries are open at night, and there are a number of terrific bars and restaurants that will be open at night. I do not think the museum is, however, open at night.

I was there earlier in the day, not past 6. But it is a big place, with lots of restaurants and other businesses that will be open late. Many of the galleries may be closed by 6, but there will be a lot to see.

You can walk around without actually going into the stores . 99% of the things to see are on the street anyway.
