There is so much history at these pyramids. It was a joy and an honour to be there. Don't pass it up.

Visiting the only remaining of the 7 Ancient Wonders Of The World has been #1 on my bucket list for years and it didn't disappoint. We paid the additional fee to enter the structure and climb to the top - which I felt was worth...More

The pyramids are great to be sure. But why did they allow the slums around it, and how about all those sales people who bother you. Egypt does everything to minimize the tourism potential. Not going again...

Visit was simply mesmerizing. One wonders how these giant structures with such artistry were built centuries ago. Locals with horse cart and camels become a bit teasing at times. One can find nice souvenirs around the Pyramids.

This is a massive structure, beautiful in its own right, and mystical. When in the northern facade, make sure to see at the foot of the pyramid a well preserved area with Tura limestone that’ll give you a taste of the smoothness and white color...More

Cairo is the closest major city and has an international airport. Giza is effectively a suburb of Cairo, where the Pyramids are located. Yes, you need a visa. But you can buy it when you land - $25US per person.
