The opening hours are too short. It opens at 10:30 am and closes at 8 pm. Generally, it's well-stocked but understaffed . Staff was not very helpful if you only buy one or two items. It's different compared to the very friendly service we experienced a few years ago.

    A good place for K-Beauty products…
I usually don’t shop here other than to use up e vouchers earned from staying at Lotte hotels thru their rewards program. I was able to redeem $300 in e vouchers and spent it all at the Kahi cosmetic counter. You would recognize the pink multi-balm stick that K-Drama actresses use on various dramas. I especially like the actress who’s the model for this brand since she appears to be only a few remaining actress without the “eye lid” plastic surgery done that most women / girls get in Korea. I applaud the actress for showing that you can still be beautiful without plastic surgery as well as the cosmetic company for selecting her as their model. The sales lady helping me at the Kahi counter was friendly, very talented speaking multiple languages (she spoke in Chinese when a rude customer kept interrupting my sales session) as well as provided additional complimentary samples. Overall, the duty-free shops are enormous, taking up multiple floors, larger than any you’ll see at an airport, with a variety of usual exorbitantly priced top brands as well as some that are reasonably priced. Be sure to bring your passport!

    Great shopping experience
I would recommend going to the duty free department store first to check out the range of items and prices before heading to Myeongdong area for shopping. The offers here can be quite attractive for the products made in Korea. Items purchased here by foreigners can be collected at the airport before departure - that’s an added convenience but make sure not to be carrying too much in the hand luggage. I recommend exploring from 12F and walk your way down. There are sufficient lift and elevator facilities. B1 has several eateries and pastry shops. About 3 hours would be good.

I bought some Duty Free products over at their Gangnam Lotte Duty Free outlet which I can only pick up from the Incheon airport on day of departure.

On the day of collection, our boarding gate was at 23 and I inquired from Customer Service once I walk through the immigration and was told the collections station is opposite to gate 35. I went in search for this collection station which was a good 20 to 30 minutes distance so halfway through my 65 years old husband had to stop and I just continue by myself with his receipt, boarding pass and passport.

Gate 35 was at a far end obscure corner and when I reach there there is no collection station in sight. At this point, I started to half run while stopping to ask 3 times with even the Duty Shop staff pointing me to go to customer service counter at a distance without hearing my plight. Now at this second customer service counter was I then told that is opposite gate 45.

Seriously, why can't the collection station be nearer to our boarding gate. To make matters worst, the staff at the collection station told me that my husband needed to be present also. At this point, I blew my top in between taking deep deep deep breathes because of the run I had to take to reach the collection station. Though I know this is not entirely the attending staff's mistake. But, the whole system set up is very disappointing and inefficient.

After finally successfully collecting the items, we literally needed to ran from gate 45 all the way to gate 23 on foot. No travelators at all throughout this whole plight.

Very disappointing and my recommendation is to DO NOT buy anything in the town Duty Free Shops. If you need to buy, better to buy from within the airport itself.

My flight was cancelled due to Corona Virus and it is over 5 days I am trying to get a refund for my order but no luck!
They rarely answer the phone, never reply to emails, never return my call after leaving them over 10 messages!
I finally succeeded to talk to them and give them my credit card number for refund and I was told I will get a confirmation email, but I'm still waiting! I have sent them multiple emails requesting the confirmation of my refund, but again no reply!
Never again pre-order anything from this business! Lots of frustration and stress getting the refund!

Products range from kitchen ware, fruits and veggies, skin products, fashion, electrical goods to money exchange (ATM). If you happen to have an apartment equipped with kitchenette, Lotte is an accessible, basic and convenient all-in-one store. The store trolley can go to all levels without you paying at the 1st level first. Thus you can bring your fruits and veggies up to the 2nd level and pay there :)

If you are buying cosmetics and skincare, you are likely to get better deals at Shilla duty free, airport. Here the staff are rude and roll eyes at you if you ask for samples or gifts. There isn’t any! At the airport, with the purchase of 2 pieces of Sulwhasoo ginseng Eye cream, I got 20% off duty price plus gifts and sample sets! So hold out here unless there is additional discount on top of duty free prices. Get the vip discount card on the spot at level 11 to get 5% off.

This place serves nothing but grabbing money from tourists’ pocket. For popular products you have to buy a set of rubbish before you are “allowed” to buy the thing you really want, they just don’t sell their best sellers solely. There are many hidden events and discount that they never tell you until you ask for. More worse, there are many discounts that you think you are eligible for, but they have thousands of excuses to not apply them. I will NEVER visit this place again.

Lots of options here - some very expensive concessions and others cheaper. Had some good food on the 14th floor and good value for money. Lovely clean toilets. Good to escape in here when it’s hot!
