Great museum and the best souvenir shop on the island! Definitely worth a visit. The entrance fee of 10$ is ok but given the size of the museum could be lower.

Small local museum. I think this was well worth a short stop for some history of Palau. Displays are really nicely put together.

I stopped in here on my first day in Palau prior to diving. I think it's a worthwhile stop to get a sense of the local culture, architecture and marine life. It's $10 to get in which is a little steep for the size of the place, but it is also well laid out and you can ask any questions to the friendly lady at the front.

As museum lovers, we opted to visit this place while the rest of group was in a near-by duty-free shop. The museum is not large, yet it provides some essential information (e.g. history, culture) for the first-time visitors like us. The gift shop on the 2nd floor has many beautiful items to choose from. (There are not many gift shops in Palau, and we bought most of our souvenirs here !)

A good overview of the history of Palau, good exhibits, laid out as a timeline. A good bit of WWII coverage as well as pre-contact. The upper floor is basilica as shop with some ship models in one corner. If you are a diver who needs a surface day before flying, this is a great stop.

A small, interesting museum. Free entry for locals which is very nice, not sure what it costs for visitors. Has a variety of items about local culture and history. If you want more detailed and extensive experience head to the Belau National Museum. Etpisom has numerous wood carvings, benches and canoes to examine and also a large gift shop.

A privately-owned museum with world-class presentations. The large display of the wooden storyboards details the history of the prized works of art.
