Before I start my review I recommend calling Captain John for a private charter. He is cheaper than all the other companies and is flexible with time. (680) 778-7333.

Anyways....

You have to come here if visiting Palau. This place is included with most tours but it was a must stop on my list. Although you don't need to spend a bunch of time here you do need to pay it a visit. The mud is soft and feels nice on the skin. Plus you can get creative and draw on each other of yourself with it. It's located in a beautiful lagoon where you can swim for a while.

Nice place to take young people and kids for snorkeling. Water is warm and clear. What is special about this place is that one can grab a handful of the the sand, which is white and have a free sand ‘facial' due to certain geological conditions creating this phenomena. A fun place for a day tour.

This place is a blast to visit! You can cover yourself in sulfur mud which Palauans believe has health benefits and makes you look 10 years younger. I’d bet my right leg it has no health benefits but it’s a ton of fun to cover yourself in this mud. The water is also a creamy blue color and it’s a beautiful place to visit.

Milky Way is a part of the most Rock Island tours, which gets crowded with hurds of tourists. This takes away some magic of the place. The water is actually an emulsion of white limestone sand. It is a popular place for swimming. If you love a good facial, apply this white sand - unforgettable. :)

This spot is absolutely gorgeous. We had lunch on our dive boat here with Fish N Fins. They are a great dive company btw. It’s quiet and peaceful, the color of the water is beautiful. The mud does smell when you rub it on, but anything to look younger right?!

The bottom of this area is full of white volcanic mud, and thus it makes the water looks milky! The mud can be spread on body and it's supposedly beneficial to the skin. As it's usually the first snorkeling stop of the day (2nd day for our package), it may be better to wear the bathing suit / short first -- easier for the mud spreading! Can bring and put on the snorkeling wet suit afterwards....

Milky way is just a small place in the island. I don’t know why its called milky way but may be because of the mud thats milky, white and creamy sand. They said it can make your skin white and smooth if you put the mud in skin for a while.

You can reach the place by boat.

When we arrived we were completely surprised at what our boat was entering. We were in Palau on a diving trip and we got to come to this magical area and hang out for a bit.
This was a very neat area to be in. The natural mud was just magical to be around and in. Covered our selves all up in the mud and jumped into the warm water to rinse off.
We definitely would recommend stopping by and visiting this spot no matter what your stay is for in Palau.
We will definitely be back!!!

A must see and experience of a lifetime when in Palau. Come together with sea nature! It is the best sightseeing and water experience with family members or friends. Make sure to bring your camera! :) :) :)
