    Beautiful and significant
“It’s just a tree.” Don’t let people tell you that. They don’t understand and appreciate the significance of this beautiful tree and why it is important given the surrounding area. I have always been fascinated by lone trees so this was a special visit, despite the brutal noon heat. The tree provided us with welcome shade and reminded us of how much of a miracle it is, having stood there for over 400 years! Visiting with a guide would be great for more in depth information but there are informational plaques there for you to read, supplemented by what’s found online. There were a few other travellers there when we went and they were all in awe as well. There is a ranger posted out here to watch over the tree. Bumpy, sandy dirt road to the Tree but we were totally fine in our tiny sedan.

    A Journey in various ways
Great place for meditation and photos. It’s a beautiful tree in the desert surrounded by various oil places and camp grounds. Warning!!!! GPS might take you away from the main road to cut through a dirt road with areas of soft sand where numerous visitors , like myself, get stuck. Fortunately there are security personnel and grounds keepers to help for a small fee. Uploaded is a photo of the area to stay away from marked with a red X.

Tree of Life is still alive
Tree of Life is alive again, my last trip there was in 2008 and without the intervention, it would probably be dead by now. Now there is 24/7 guard on duty to stop people burning the tree and it is worth visiting again. There is even a small museum for the tree done:) If you like to see a mystery tree growing in the middle of nowhere, that is the place to go. 1 big tree on top of the small hill with nothing else around it!

Mesmerising Tree I’d Life, nothing like this anywhere in the world…..
In the middle of the desert, with no source of water, the Tree of Life a 441 years old tree which is a rare site and should be declared as one of the ondear of the modern world. The positive elements of his place attracts you deep i to the woods and the myth is donate some water and make a wish and if it comes true, come back again to thank the Tree of Life…. Must to do list when in Manama……

Tree if Life on Easter Sunday
A group of us decided to visit this sacred site on Easter Sunday. The area was very well kept and they had lots of information about the history of the tree, in an under cover area out of the hot sun. Everyone was very respectful and quiet in the area and the day we visited there were only 10 other people there.

Worth a stop and make a wish! Nice views. We went towards sunset. You don't need long. Read up before you go on the importance of the tree.

It’s one of the most historic places in Bahrain, as it’s hundreds of years old! It is just a simple tree, but it still is a good visit whether you are with family or friends. I would say it’s a must visit if you live there or you’re just visiting the country.

On the top of a sanddune, in the middle of the desert, Tree of life is standing from 400+ years. No flora can be seen nearby. Its the only tree surviving. Two security guards were on duty. The attraction is free to go. Worth a visit.
