The place little bit far from Sultan Ahmed area. The masjid is very huge and beautiful. Mazar of Sultan Muhammed Fatih is also at the same complex.

It is the best Spiritual place to visit and to Pray . Usually less tourists so more religious for Muslims , you feel mental calm there . Praying there is a must in Istanbul

this mosque has a very unique building art, if you are a muslim you should at least pray there once. very big perfectly build.

I visited this mosque on Wednesday while all the neighbourhood was occupied by the Wednesday market stalls. It was an amazing mosque, its architecture looks similar to the one of Sultanahmet mosque, and the surrounding area is very wide and provided with seats and sunshades...More

I found lots of lovely mosques in istanbul. This was one of them. Although after the blue mosque nothing impressed me as much but it was still a serene place to visit with a historical twist :)

It has the Tomb of Sultan Muhammad the Fatih and his wife's tomb as well, its a magnificent structure, go for it and enjoy, its a quite area as its far from the tram and the tourist trails

this area has the most wedding dresses i have ever seen and no one ever told me i went here with my granddaughter to look for a wedding dress she was stunned at the pricing and the amount of choices available they even make you...More

We listen when history talk. Fatih is the leader Mohd Fatih who liberate Qustanteena or what we call now Istanbul. Mosque is really great, a big place for washing, amazing interior ambience. Many fountains in the outer garden. A must visit.

best viewed at night,Lovely call to prayer and beautiful courtyard ,all mosques very similiar to blue mosque but all has something speacial to view

We took a metered cab from the Blue mosque area to Fatih mosque and was charged close to 20Lira. The place is beautiful and peaceful. When visiting Istanbul, do travel to Fatih and Eyup mosques for dining and shopping. These are hassle-free places unlike Sultanahmet.
