Well-kept grounds bustling with energy and flowers. You can find tea, Ice cream food and such along the way. Walked there daily, and will next time too.

Warning: the beautiful yellow wooden church in the pic is called "Ascension Cathedral".
It's placed in the "Panfilov Park" in..... Almaty, Kazakhstan 😑😑😑
I've spent an hour searching this church in the homonym park in Bishkek.
I was searching for a church in an amusement park similar to a small italian "Luna park" 😅😅😅

When we visited the park at night there was a little market with a real yurt and some traditional dancers, really nice.

This park has a lot of amusement rides that kids would love, along with many food options and other forms of entertainment. It is a beautifully designed park, and looked great during the autumn months, with the leaves changing colors. I enjoyed my time there just relaxing.

Beautiful place to walk your dog or children, or take a stroll with friends or by yourself. Flowers everywhere, children laughing, icecream trucks, and shade trees. Love place to spend an hr or two.

Well worth a walk through. It's not a posh park where every flower bed is weeded and in order but the semi wild appearance is quite relaxing and must attract all the right insects and wild life!

There are a number of impressive statues but you would need a guide book to discover who they are and what they are known for.

Where to start: any walk through the parks of the downtown of Kyrgyz capital starts from these spots: the Victory Square or somewhere near the Mayor's office/Osh bazaar.
Landmarks to be mentioned on this route, moving from east to west: Victory Square, Theatre Square, Opera and Ballet Theatre, National Museum of Fine Arts, an Oak Park, Russian and Kyrgyz Drama Theatres, Erkindik Boulevard, Old Square and Parliament building with Lenin in front of it, Panfilov Park, Football Stadium, Sports Palace. This is the spot where your route splits in two - you can proceed a couple more blocks to the west to get to the Mayor's office and National Philarmony and then to the Osh bazaar. Or you can walk just a block up and take a left turn to the Main Square. A square full of white marble and marching guards are the noticeable sights for a foreigner, where the magnificence of the Soviet past is in the air.
The park itself looks pretty much like a small town fair, with a specific Soviet heritage and bright Chinese plastic are mixing together. Not much have changed in that place for last 20 years, just like many other places in the city. The good thing about it is that service got much better now. The shape of the park on the maps is a hint - all of the walkways in it form up a five pointed star, one of the most recognized Soviet symbols and specifically - the Soviet military. The park is named after the Soviet Major General Panfilov, KIA in the Battle of Moscow, 1941. The division under his command had many recruits from Bishkek and Almaty that have proven themselves as brave soldiers
