A must visit in Yerevan!
Oct 2021 • Solo
Travel Tip. Take the escalators up, walk the stairs down. Go around 4-5pm and take another stairs to the left in order to reach the highest point for much scenic sunset view.

Nothing to say about the place but it is the most touristic area to visit but you’ll take great photos of the city.

Must do
Sep 2021
Beautiful place and a must in every visit to Yerevan. You can go up the stairs on foot or take the escalators, they are located inside the building on the left side. If you are lucky, the mount Ararat will be visible and you will have amazing views from the top.

Worth a visit every day I am in Yerevan
Sep 2021
My Airbnb is a block and a half from the cascade complex. I walk to the top every other day as substitute for my gym back home and never get tired of the view of the city and Mt. Ararat in the distance. I greatly enjoy sitting in the sculpture garden at the foot of the cascade and watching the people. The place in particular comes alive in the evening when all the open air restaurants lining the garden come alive. I can only imagine the added beauty of the cascade if flowers were planted in all the proper areas. Also, some of the pieces of art along the escalator are in sad condition and could be restored or replaced. It is too bad that the work on the cascade complex was never finished. I looked up the original design and it would be fantastic.

Good to visit thought fountains not working
Aug 2021 • Solo
This area, more commonly know as Cascade, starts with some lovely hardens with some great sculptures and then moves uphill - plenty of stairs and a great view or a loft inside. Various places to pop into to explore the arts; but lovely to walk even if you don’t go inside. Definitely worth a visit; although at the moment the fountains are not working and clearly haven’t been for some time which is a pity.

Great Views of the City Skyline
Aug 2021
Be sure to walk up all the 527 steps and the early morning view of the city is really beautiful and not crowded. Be sure to check out all the outdoor art in and around the cascades

Fun Activity

Great building. It is more then just steps. There is an art museum. Inside there is an escalator so you don't have to walk up to the top for a grand view of the city.

Gorgeous monument with lots to see
Aug 2021 • Couples
I’d recommend not going during midday as we did as it was a hot walk to the top (but still well worth it). The views over the city and of Mount Ararat are breathtaking, and the structure itself is gorgeous - there are so many sculptures and reliefs to admire.
