I haven’t been to Lucky Plaza for many years. When it first “re-opened” it was ok but the prices were high and there a sense of indifference by the stall owners. The one advantage then was air conditioning. While some of the stall holder still remain, there is now a broader range of goods to consider. Heaps of t-shirts of course but better laid out than the markets and better different designs. There’s also a few craft type shops with handmade oils and soaps. I was able to negotiate a pair of shoes for the same price I would expect in shoe street. Again the quality seemed better than Ben Thanh. Worth a visit. …

Good place with supermarket on 3rd floor. 2nd floor vendors seem more relaxed and happy to negotiate, very reasonable prices. Can buy foodstuffs to bring home as souvenirs at the supermarket on the 3rd floor.

small market downstairs with a supermarket upstairs , go there first to buy any sovernieirs , in market vendors could be quite pushy trying to attract sale work on about 40-50% of asking price
