A food tour through the old quarter of Hanoi - as you meander through the old quarter hearing the history of the city you get the chance to try some of the cuisine particular to this part of Vietnam - with all the food tours available I would rate this one of the best

We had a great time in Vietnam over New Years, which included taking the Fat Emperor Food Tour. The experience was well worth it and we highly recommend doing the tour on the first or season day of arriving iny Hanoi. When arriving to a new city/town we always aim to do a food or walking tour and after being recommended the Fat Emperor we were not disappointed. The food experience was great, however don't underestimate the benefit of gaining exposure to parts of Hanoi city that most mainstream tourists don't visit and also the benefit of becoming familiar with the city right at the start of your visit. Thanks for the welcoming tour and the great flavours. We look forward to catching up again when we return later this year.

We had a magnificent tour guide "Hai" and his assistant, everything ran smoothly. Hai certainly knew a lot of history and we seen things that we would never have seen without the tour, food was great....would highly recommend.

We love a food tour and chose this one as it came highly recommended. The whole experience did not disappoint and was probably the best thing we did in our whole time away! Our guide Huong was a champion. His historical knowledge mixed in with stories from his childhood made it really special and quite personal. And the food.....AWESOME! Every food dish, drink, coffee whatever we were having left such an indelible mark that we are already planning on doing this tour again next time we visit Hanoi. A must do!

Fabulous way to spend an afternoon in Hanoi. This gourmet food trail took us through the streets of the charming old quarter where we feasted on some of the best food we've had in Hanoi. We also learnt so much about Vietnamese history from our friendly guide, Huong. Huong shared stories which, despite coming from a Vietnamese background, was new even to us. His passion, knowledge and personal stories were what made this tour incredibly unique. I wouldn't choose to experience the old quarter any other way...AMAZING!
