Visiting solo, I took an audio guide to explore the place. I was pleasantly surprised by a good sound of English version. The lenght of the audio files is longer though, so prepare that you will spend more time at the place, if you want...More

Good museum, we paid extra for the audio which was good. Lots to see, mix of documents, photos, artefacts. Good insight into past lives and traditions.

This museum held floors of various museum displays including video, fashion and war memories. A great way to see how women have developed and grown in Vietnam and their roles in the country.

No doubt about it this was our favourite museum in Hanoi. Very interesting displays- especially liked the photo exhibit at the entrance and the video on women street vendors.

2-3 hours. The nice thing about the audio guide is you enter the number for the display you want to hear about. Two of the floors we listened to almost all of the audio guide the last floor we listened to maybe one or two.

Yes it does. Make sure for the little extra you do the audio as it is well worth listening to the stories.
