Spent an afternoon strolling through the museum, inside and outside. All ethnicity in Vietnam condensed within a museum with explanation how each group progressed through history. There were not many patrons end of December. Definitely very educational.

Informative place. The old houses are well preserved. Our tour guide was very helpful. This place is great for my kids to learn about history

If the subject matter sounds interesting, you will like this. Lots of products and tools from the 54 different ethnicities in Vietnam. Outdoor house exhibits were the most interesting.

As much outside than inside this museum is a great introduction to hethnic population in Vietnam. Well explained in English. Not to miss the water puppets show.

Well organised museum with indoor and outdoor section. Outdoor section had several houses /huts of various tribes. Nice for our 9 year old to walk around. Also features a water puppet show several times/day which is a shorter and simpler version of the one downtown....More

Hi, lt was not quite easy. I took a public bus no. 14 from hoan kiem to the museum just google map your location & destination and you can see the public bus number around the city in Hanoi only show them where you will drop... More
